Chapter 11: Swimming With The Fishies

Lena was being smacked around by the waves, until suddenly it all just stopped and Lena just sat their in the middle of the road with nobody else but her.

She woke up in a hospital surrounded by lots of people.

"What happened?" Asked Lena still getting used to the light.

"You were swept away by the flood and were submerged underwater for about 45 minutes, I'm suprised you are alive." Said the doctor hooking up some wires.

Does that mean I found the underwater breathing power? Lena asked Atlas in her mind hoping he would ask her mom.

He did.

Yes Lena you have all four of your powers. Replied Atlas giving a huge smile the same as Lena.

A day and a few tests later, Lenas mom was able to bring her home.

"I'm gonna go sleep." Said Lena slowly walking up the stairs.

"But it's only 3:30." Cried Toby holding his golden toy helicopter.

"Toby, Lena just came from the hospital again let her rest." Said their mom setting down her purse.

Toby made a sad face.

"I'll call you down when dinner is ready ok?" Said their mom looking up things for dinner.

"Thanks mom, bye Toby." Lena said walking up the stairs quicker than before.

3 hours later...

"LENA DINNER!" Yelled her mom loudly waking her up.

Lena slowly walked down the stairs rubbing her eyes.

They were about to start eating when there was a knock at the door.

"Come m'lady, I will take you out on a very special dinner, shall we?" Asked Atlas with a bouquet of roses and daisies.

"Can I mom, pleeeeeeeeaaaaaase?" Asked Lena jumping around.

She waved her hand that meant whatever and Lena ran up the stairs to get ready.

About 20 minutes later Lena came down in a white lace tank top with a pair on blue jeans and 2 inch tan boots with her hair in a high ponytail and a pair of silver hoops dangling from her ears.

"Ready to go?" Lena asked Atlas as his mouth dropped open.

Lena chuckled and rolled her eyes as they went out the door.

At the restaurant (the cheesecake factory)...

"This is delicious Atlas." Said Lena taking a bite of her strawberry cheesecake.

"Good cause I am not going to pay 100 dollars for nothing." Said Atlas drinking his sweet tea.

After dinner Lena and Atlas decided to go swimming in the ocean near the docks.

"Ok um, I dare you to go the the bottom and pick something up." They were playing truth or dare in the water and Atlas liked to play around with Lenas powers.

"Seriously?" Lena said as Atlas gave a nod.

Lena quickly gave Atlas a kiss on the lips and dove under.

A few minutes later, Lena came back up with a mysterious pocket watch.

"What did you find?" Asked Atlas hopping up onto the dock.

"I found this pocket watch." Said Lena examining the front.

"Can I see?" Asked Atlas snatching it from her hands.

Atlas flipped it over and his eyes widened.

"What is it?" Lena asked snatching it back.

Lena looked all over it and couldn't find anything.

"Look at this." Said Atlas flipping it over and pointing to a couple of letters scratched in the brass.

"So, it's only letters, what's so important?" Asked Lena.

"The letters are S.G.A., do you know what that stands for?" Said Atlas pointing it out clearer.

"No, it's probably the brand." Said Lena.

"No Lena, the letters stand for Simon George Anderson." Said Atlas carefully.

"That's my dad's name, how is that possible?" Asked Lena starting to cry.

"I don't know but you need to keep it." Said Atlas placing it in her small hands.

Lena didn't know what to do but cry, that's what she did until her eyes closed and she couldn't move and she slowly sank underwater.

"LENA!" Yelled Atlas jumping into the water and swimming towards Lena.

Atlas finally got a hold of Lena and pulled her to the surface.

"Lena speak to me, come on Lena!" Yelled Atlas trying to wake her up.

Lena took a deep breath and started coughing as her eyes opened and she sat up.

Atlas kissed her and they sat their for a few moments before going home.
