"Oh sweetie I'm so sorry." Cried Lenas mom as she layed a towel on her head.
"It's alright I just wish I knew what had happened." Said Lena with a tired voice.
"If it happens again I'll take you to a doctor, now get some sleep." Her mom left the room as Lena fell asleep.
When Lena woke yup her mom was on the phone but got off soon after and Toby was playing with his cars in the living room.
"Your awake, why don't you go play with Toby in the living room and I'll get dinner made?" Suggested her mom.
"Sounds good." Said Lena as she walked in the living room.
At dinner...
"Today I made something new, I call it sea side sunk, it's a combination of three things, trout, steak fries, and soup." Announced their mother setting out the food.
"This doesn't look very good." Said Toby and Lena picking at it.
"I haven't gone grocery shopping yet so here's what you get, dig in." Said their mom sitting down.
"This is really good!" Said Toby stuffing his face.
"I don't like it something tastes wei-" Once again Lena threw up.
This time her mom took her to the hospital and suprisingly she got the same doctor.
"Good to see you again, what have we today?" Asked the nurse getting out her pen.
"Well, Lena here has been throwing up after every bite she eats." Said her mom rubbing Lenas shoulder.
"Does she have any food allergies?" Asked the nurse writing something down.
"No, she has no allergies." Stated Lenas mom.
"Well this sounds like food poisoning which is not a really big deal but judging by the poison already in rmyour brain it seems normal, we just need to give her some medicine." The doctor wrote a prescription for Lena.
"Thank you doctor." She said as she left.
"She saw the poison, what did you tell her?" Screamed Lenas mom.
"Well, Atlas told me it was used for our powers and I told her that it was fine and I went through this entire doctor uncle thing and everything was alright." Said Lena with a hardy smile.
"Thats a relief." Her mom said as the doctor came in the room.
"Here is your prescription, sign this and you'll be on your way." Said the doctor handing her some paperwork.
"Before we go could we do another brain scan?" Asked Lenas mom with a worried smile.
"I suppose we could just give me a minute and we will get set up." The doctor said again leaving the room.
In the scanning room...
"Ok so we are going to send her in now." Said a doctor pushing a button. Her mom watching from a different room.
A few minutes later...
"It seems like the poison in her brain has grown quite a bit." Said the doctor laying out the brain scan once they were back in her room.
"I'll have my doctor look at this and then I'll be all set once we can leave." Said her mom rushing to get out of there.
"Ma'am I don't think you understand this is dangerous." Said the doctor.
"This is my child and I say she is fine now I would like to leave now." She glared at the doctor.
"If you insist." The doctor signed them out and they went home.
The next morning...
"Hey mom, why do I have more poison in my brain?" Asked Lena from the couch.
"Hold on, I'm on the phone." Replied her mom.
"Ok, what did you need?" Asked her mom walking into the room.
"I asked why I had more poison." Restated Lena pausing the tv.
"Well, scientists found out that you have more powers than most telepathic humans, so when you got food poisoning, it opened up and revealed more of your powers." Explained her mom sitting on the couch.
"What about Toby?" Asked Lena.
"No, Toby just has telepathy." Answered her mom.
"What kind of powers do I have?" Asked Lena.
"Since you have telepathy, you probably have mind reading too which is much less dangerous, and you inherited the ocean gene so you might have the ability to breath underwater, but that's all I can think of." Explained her mom.
"Woah." Lenas eyes widened.
