"And remember, next week they're handing out applications for student council, being in student council your senior year is really fun and I hope to see you guys competing for it." Everyone was gathering their things not even paying attention to Mrs. Adams. "Oh, and it looks really good on college applications."
Almost half of the rooms movements stopped for a mere second but we all continued on, and I was just thinking of the perfect campaign to kick everyone's ass.
But what I had in mind, might not cut it... So desperate times call for desperate measures.

"Hello?" I rolled my eyes at her voice before putting on my best act.
"Hi, Britney? It's Caspian." I leaned against my locker, studying the tiles beneath my feet.
"Caspian?" I heard shuffling and a door shutting before she started to speak again. "Oh barf, how did you get my number?"
"Nice to hear your voice too." I sighed. "Look, I just needed some advice." I bit my bottom lip holding back a smile as she made choking sounds on the other end.
"YOU want MY help? Wow, you must be pretty desperate."
"Trust me, you have no idea." I smiled towards Ross who was making his way towards me. "So stuco elections are coming up, and I just wanted to know how you were always president."
"Hey babe." Ross kissed my cheek and I held my finger up to shush him.
"Bible, you've gotta be kidding me." I heard her laughing on the other end. "You two actually lasted?"
I rolled my eyes. "Back to the main topic please."
"Alright, fine. I'll send you a list tonight of things I did. You have any questions... Just ask."
"What? You're not going to blackmail me?" I scoffed.
"You don't have anything I want." I could just picture her sitting in a salon getting her nails done as she commanded people to fan her.
"Wow. Well thanks."
"Least I could do, considering the fact that I kinda put you through hell."
I looked towards the ground in stunned silence. I guess people really can change. Ross leaned on the locker beside me, looking curious.
"That was Britney." I said quietly and Ross raised his brow and I grinned. "She's going to help me with my student council campaign."
"That's great." He pushed off from the lockers and grabbed my hand. "My practice got cancelled, so I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner." He pulled my hand up towards his lips and kissed the back of it.
"Sorry." My lips pulled into a tight line. "I have a thing with the math club tonight." I pulled my hand back and gave him a quick peck. "We're tutoring some middle schoolers today."
Ross pouted at me making me push him into the wall next to us. "Ow, You're always busy." He whined making me glower at him.
"Don't be a baby." I stopped in front of him fixing his hair as he swatted my hands away.
