When we arrive at IHOP, it's pretty crowded. Elders sit together, having discussion over coffee and their discounted breakfasts. I can't help but smile at the sight of them. Old people are frigging adorable.

Our waitress grabs two menus and I feel Harry's hand weave into mine as we walk. When we reach the table, where I expect him to release my hand, he doesn't. Instead, he keeps out hands twined together on the table. I hide my smile.

The waitress takes our drink order, me having green tea and Harry having coffee. He likes his coffee black and I like my tea with nothing in it as well.

His hand pulls away a small bit as he turns his body to reach into his jeans and pull out his phone. His hand rejoins mine as he swipes and types on his phone single handedly. He lays down his phone facing up and looks up at me to smile.

"I texted Niall so hopefully we can get directions from him and a time. Hopefully we don't need to get tickets beforehand." Harry informs me and I nod.

We look down at the menus and I flip a few pages before deciding I want blueberry pancakes. Harry said he's getting a Belgium waffle and I lick my lips. I'm so hungry. I felt like I ate so early last night when it really wasn't that late. It must have just felt that way because I stayed up so damn late.

The waitress comes to take our order, placing our hot drinks on the table in front of us. She looks to be about twenty with brown hair picked up into a ponytail. I look down to realize her name is Brooke.

"Thank you Brooke!' I say with such enthusiasm that I see and hear Harry laugh at me from the corner of my vision. Brooke lifts the menus away from the table, reaching over me & Harry's hands before replying.

"No problem!" She smiles and walks away to put our orders in. I look out the window of our booth seat to see his car sitting there. It stands out against the surrounding cars that surpass his car in age. I bring my attention back to the curly haired boy and rub my thumb back and forth against his. His growing smile is cut off by the vibration of his phone. He looks down a clicks it on to reveal a glowing screen. The light from the phone is caught in his eyes as a blurred reflection. I look at him for an answer until he looks up at me to give me an update on our day.

"He said his tickets are for 7. Funny enough, he has two extra tickets because these people he was going with originally wanted to go earlier! That's nuts but I'm not complaining." Each word makes me happier. This is beyond perfect. How ironic is it that he has 2 tickets for that time? It's like frigging destiny telling me I better go on this date with Harry. God, I love the word date.

"Tor?" Harry cuts off my wondering thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry. I would love to go! That sounds perfect! How ironic is it that Niall has 2 tickets?" I laugh.

"I don't know but we got really lucky." He smiles.

"We must have."

"I'm pretty sure Niall is still somewhat drunk but he'll be fine by later." He reassures me."

My stomach growls and I curse at it to hush in my mind. My method to silence it fails when Harry laughs.

"You're hungry?" He teases me.

"Yeah. I'm used to eating early in the morning and we stayed up late last night so it felt like I ate earlier." Realization that I over-explained myself comes when a confused look sweeps over Harry's face.

"What time did you eat last night?" His sudden concern strikes a bit of worry in me and I'm not sure why.

"I don't know like 6 or 7..why?" His mouth opens and he looks at me strange. I'm not sure if I should laugh or be concerned.

"That's why you were almost drunk last night!" He says and I try to quite him down a level so no one hears him.

"Huh?" I say once my thought are processed. What does drinking have to do with this anyway?

"Well if you have alcohol on an empty stomach, its absorbed into your bloodstream faster." He tells me something that I never knew before, but I guess it makes sense.

"Really?" I sound surprised.

"Yea....that's why you were so quick to" I foreshadow his words and am fast to cover his mouth and his eyes close in laughter. When I take my hand off his mouth, the muffled laughter is raised up in volume until it begins to die down.

"Be quite! There are elders here!" I whisper the word 'elders' as if they were ablt to hear me. My response only makes him laugh louder so I make another attempt.

"And it didn't affect my decision at all. If anything, I'm glad it gave me a push to do what.. we did. And I wasn't drunk this morning.." I remind him with a wink and he continues his laugh. Our conversation of our dirty actions that occurred only this morning is silenced when our waitress comes walking towards us with our late breakfast. The smell of blueberries swirled into sweet pancake and waffle mix is heaven for my nose. I impatiently wait for her to place the food in front of us and I finally break my hand away from Harry's matched with a sweet smile. I'm too hungry to eat this with one hand.
