You woke up the next morning to a knock on the door. You slowly but surely get up to answer it. You open the door and notice Robert in the hall.
"Hey, you ready?" Robert asked.
Your eyes widened.
"What time is it?" You ask.
"It's about 8am." Robert responded.
"Shit!" You respond as you begin running to grab your things.
"Hey, hey, hey, don't worry about us being late. All we're doing is walking around today." Robert explained. "You can get changed, I'll take you downstairs so you can have breakfast and then we can leave from there."
"A-Are you sure?" You asked.
"Totally." Robert nodded. A smile on his face.
You breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank you."
You quickly go into the bathroom and get changed and brush your hair out. You looked in the mirror, noticing that you still haven't put makeup on and the acne on your face was showing. You wanted to put on makeup but you didn't want to keep Robert waiting, so you just went with Robert instead.
Downstairs, you quickly grabbed a granola bar and decided to head out from there.
"Are you sure that will keep you full until lunch time?" Robert asked.
"I'm sure I'll be fine." You assured.
You were about to walk out the door when Robert was still standing there.
"What?" You asked.
"I want you to eat something else, just to be sure..." Robert insisted.
"But what about the convention?" You asked.
"We've got plenty of time." Robert assured.
You were silent for a moment but you finally decided to grab a bowl of cereal from the shelf and eat it. You hated the fact that Robert was kind of bossy to you, but as you looked at his face, you could see he was relieved but still concerned.
You finally finished your cereal and threw everything out before going with Robert outside into a cab that took you to the convention.
"Sorry if I sounded kinda bossy back there." Robert said.
"It's fine." You assure him.
"Because I mean normally, I'm not really concerned about anybody." Robert explained. "But I guess, since we're I guess friends now, I just want to make sure we keep being friends, y'know?"
You nodded, kind of surprised that he said that. Looking back, you realized your cousin's boyfriend mentioned those exact same words to her when he was concerned about something. It made you feel kind of nervous thinking about it, and you didn't want to mention it to Robert, so you didn't say anything.
After a couple minutes, you guys arrived at the convention center. Robert grew a big grin on his face.
"This is gonna be sick!" Robert grinned.
You smiled back. You liked seeing Robert happy, and you were excited for this convention as much as he was.
As you both entered the convention center, you noticed banners everywhere saying PAX PRIME on them. The first thing you both came across at the convention was a gaming station with Mario Maker. You and Robert decided to play a few games.
"You really need to play these games on your channel." You told him.
"I need to get a Wii U console first and maybe I will." Robert said. "I might even try and make my own levels."
Just as you guys left the gaming station, you noticed three girls approaching Robert with big grins on their faces.
"Hey, are you RobertIDK?" One of the girls asked excitedly.
"Yeah that's me!" Robert grinned.
The girls grew excited and jumped around before asking for a photo. You decided to step aside while the girls took their selfies with Robert. At one moment, Robert looked at you, feeling kind of guilty.
Finally, the girls parted ways with Robert. Robert then looked at you, blushing and rubbing his neck nervously again.
"I-I'm sorry about that." Robert said.
"Don't be sorry." You said. "You're here to hang out and meet fans. It's gonna probably be a bit crazy for you, especially tomorrow."
"Yeah, probably." Robert said.
Throughout the rest of the time, about a dozen more fans came to Robert and started asking for pictures with him while you stood aside. During some moments it kind of irked you, especially when you were mid-conversation or in the middle of doing something.
Finally, the convention came to a close and you and Robert both went into a cab back into the hotel.
"Sorry the day didn't really turn out to be exactly what you'd hoped." Robert apologized once more.
"What are you talking about?" You asked modestly. "We got to see the convention."
"Yeah, but we kept getting interrupted by fans..." Robert said. "And I felt bad because you weren't really involved. And I really wanted you in some of the photos."
"Robert, you're the YouTuber here, not me. I'm just another friend who watches you and hangs out with you." You assured him.
"Are you sure?" Robert asked.
"Totally..." You nodded.
After pulling back up to the hotel, you and Robert went up and back to your hotel rooms. You immediately jumped onto the bed and pulled out your phone. As you were on your lock screen, you noticed tons of notifications from people that follow you.
You didn't know what any of it was about, but you decided to check it out in case it was important.
As you scrolled through your notifications, your eyes widened as they were the same photo of you and Robert hanging out.
Is that @RobertIDK's girlfriend?
Is that @(insert username here) with Robert?
Are they together?
You felt extremely overwhelmed with the amount of people sending you notifications and asking you these questions on your profile. You wanted to answer but at the same time, you knew either way, something bad would come out of this.
If you said yes, you'd get jealous fans and Robert would be mad for possibly lying.
If you said no and that you and Robert were just friends, you might get relief, but what if Robert actually feels something about you?
You weren't even sure if you felt something about him. But at the same time, you were feeling something...
