Twenty-Nine

You and your mom both decided to plan your flight in a month, when you were on break for school. Ever since you found out, keeping this secret from Robert was hard, especially when you two were skyping one another. Just seeing his face made you smile, wanting to tell him or at least give you a hint. But besides the odd looks he gave you whenever you were smiling, he didn't seem to know anything and you were able to keep the secret.

You were able to complete the first half of your school year with ease, especially knowing that you had passed the major test you had to take. It made work in school a lot easier for you.

As soon as you got home from school, you spent the rest of the day packing. You were going to be with Robert for an entire week, and you had a lot to pack. You packed several nice clothes in case you went out someplace special or on a date, you packed a dress in case you went out for dinner, and then you packed some basic clothes, your pajamas and other important things.

When you got done packing, you looked at your phone, where there were several notifications from Robert on Twitter about his video that he made for you. It had over one million views! Your eyes widened as you heard that. You then went on YouTube to check it out and make sure it was real, indeed it was.

1,010,237 views! (Random number btw)

You then text Robert.

Y: Congrats on your video reaching 1M views!
R: Congrats to you too!
Y: Why me?
R: Because you have as much to do with this video as I do!
Y: Aww ilysm!
R: Ily2! :) <3

You then decided to go downstairs and get something to eat. Your mom and dad were downstairs, your mom already in her pajamas.

"What're you doing?" You asked.
"After I eat dinner I'm going to bed." Mom said. "We have to get up around 5am tomorrow morning."
"Yeah, that's true." You said. "Although I don't know if I'll be able to go to bed at 7:00 at night."
"I'm sure you can." Your mom assured you. "Just keep your phone charging down here with mine and watch some tv until you get tired."

You rolled your eyes as you went up to your room to get your charger and brought it downstairs and plugged it in next to your mom's phone. But first, you decided to text Robert.

Y: I have to go to bed, I've got a long day ahead of me tomorrow.
R: Ok, good luck! :)
Y: Thanks!

You then put your phone down for the night. You then ate before going back upstairs to try and get as much sleep as possible. You knew you couldn't fall asleep on the plane so you had to try to get some sleep tonight.

You scrolled through the TV guide until you came across the History Channel. You absolutely hated History, so you decided to watch that until you got so bored you fell asleep. Surprisingly, it worked!

Around 4am the next day, you woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. So you decided to spend the next few hours packing up some last minute items, such as your phone, and making sure you had everything you needed.

Around 6am, your dad drove you and your mom over to the airport and dropped you off at your terminal.

"Have fun, you two!" Dad smiled.
"We will!" You responded back.

As he drove away, you couldn't help but think about the time that you went and saw Robert for the first time. He was very serious and rude about it. How he suddenly changed all of that made you wonder, but at the same time, you enjoyed it now that you got along with him.

You and your mom then went over to check yourselves in and went through security before going and waiting over at the terminal. You looked at the time, it was 8am, an hour before your flight. You both decided to get something to eat.

While you were eating, you got a text from Robert. You knew it was too early for him to be texting you.

R: Good morning!
Y: You up already?
R: I'm half awake, I just knew you'd be up.
Y: Well go back to sleep, I won't be able to text you for a while soon anyways :P
R: Ok ;)

You decided not to respond so that he could hopefully go back to sleep.

After you and your mom got done eating, you headed back to the terminal, where other people were seated and getting ready to board. You spent the remaining time before boarding watching the planes take off. You had the perfect view.

After about 15 minutes, the plane began to board. After 20 minutes, the plane left the terminal and headed to the runway. You then felt the plane beginning to accelerate and take off from the ground.

You looked out the window and watched as the airport grew smaller and smaller until it was out of sight.

You then laid back on your seat and smiled.

You were now on your way to see Robert again.
