"Okay a little bit to the left, up a bit, down a bit. A little more....and there. Perfect put it right there." Jane ordered as Masky and Hoodie put up streamers and balloons.
"Don't you think the streamers and balloon theme is getting old?" BEN asked as the two proxies climbed down the ladders. "Oh, but your missing the best part BEN." she smiled fully confident in what she was doing. "What 'best' is there? This is the same thing we do everytime." He argued "It may not look like it but trust me. You just don't see the big picture yet." She defended. "He's right you know, we're starting to get predictable." EJ commented.
"Let me show you guys something." She pushed the two 'non-believers' to the door between the living room and the kitchen. In front of the sets of streamers and balloons to be exact.
"Do you see it now?" She asked
"Nope." They said in chorus, she just sighed in disappointment and face palmed. "Right, I forgot you two are complete idiots." She mumbled which they heard. "HEY!" they protested.
"What I meant to say was, this maybe the old streamer and balloons theme but it comes with a twist." the raven haired girl explained.
"You see how these streamers are placed?"
"You mean the fact that their on the floor instead of the ceilings?" EJ sarcastically answered.
"First of all, their not ALL on the floor. Some are hanging on the walls. Two, its supposed to be that way. And this is all a game." She explained.
"Why would you make a game out of balloons and streamers? We're not kids Jane." BEN complained "Say that for yourself." She whispered "I heard that." He commented. Clearing her throat to continue explaining. "I admit it all seems rather simple and the only objective is for you to get pass them withou tugging any of the streamers. But as you will see my friend, this is not a 'kids game'. "
"Go ahead, try it for yourself." She smirked knowing what comes next. "Something bad is going to happen isn't there?" EJ asked starting to get nervous. "Why don't you find out?" Her chearfil smirk grew wider into an evil one. As she pushed thwm both insidethe room, tugging some streamers as they fell to the floor. Various items and knives came flying about, it surprised them and they tried to dodge causing them to hit more streamers and in a panicked frenzy they kept tugging more causong more items to be thrown at them.
Jane was just giggling from the two's endeavor
Once they got out she stopped giggling but the smile was still evident on her face. "You believe me now?" They nodded "No more questions?"they nod simultaneously, "Good."
"Actually, what about the balloons?" BEN asked
"As you can see we lined them up. The one who hits the smallest balloon is the winner."
"The winner of what?"
"I haven't really thought that far yet." She admitted.
"You really like games don't you?" EJ said "Silly EJ, this isn't for me its for Smile and Jeff.
"Right." BEN rolled his eyes. "What did I say about disbelieving?" "Nevermind." The elf dismissed.
"So when are they going to arrive?" They asked, Jane shrugged in response.Meanwhile......
"So do you get the plan now Smile?" Jeff looked down at the dog.
"Distract the other pastas' and stall so you and Jane could have your alone time." The dog responded.
"Good." He smiled, proud and at the same time nervous.
"So are you going to ask her tonight?" Smile asked
"Ask her what?"
"You know, the thing you've always wanted to ask her. For like, the longest time." He pointed out
"I don't know if I'm ready yet. She might think its too soon, considering we we're enemies before. I don't want to come out as some creep." The white hooded killer reasoned. "You're a creepypasta aren't you?" The dog was starting to get frustrated for the long wait. "Yeah."
"Then, do it. Ask her, you've been practicing it in the mirror this past week and you've been talking non-stop about her for two months!" The killer's eyes widened at the mutt's outburst. Embarassed at how he never noticed the uncharacteristic behaviors he's been having.
"Really? I'm sorta embarrassed now, is she really the only one I ever talked about?" He scratched the back of his neck.
"Uuhh yes. Let me give you an example."
(Flashback)
"Oh, Janey's so perfect, her pale white skin."
"Uhuh." He simply responded not really paying attention
"Her midnight black hair."
The dog just kept nodding.
"Her stunning dress I picked out for her, I'm glad she kept that even now. How I never noticed how pretty she looked under the moonlight I'll never know." He sighed daydreaming
"Maybe because you were too busy trying to kill her." the dog commented
"Oh yeah." He somehow forgot that little fact.
"But I'm happy that were in good terms now. We're going to be best friends." He announced
"And how do you plan to pull that off?"
"Uhhmmm..." the killer broke into mumbles and began to for sentences with no real thought to them. Until he was silenced. Proud of himself for shutting off his oggling master he attempted to sleep. A few minutes in, and Jeff was back at it again.
"Oh I know, first I'll -" sigh the dog sighed in frustration and because he was tired, never bothering to listen to his master as he hid himself under his bed.
(End of flashback)
"Me and Janey together forever." Smile began to mock
"I do not sound like that." He complained
"Whatever, look. The point is, if you really do want to do all those things you said then start doing it." Smile ordered
"Okay fine. And uh thanks Smile." He had a greatful expression on his face. "Consider it to be my gift for you today, and also what I'm about to do in the mansion later. You owe me two gifts." the dog reminded "As if taking care of you isn't good enough?" Jeff joked and crossed his arms.
"You don't exactly take 'good' care of me though. The dog joked back. Laughter from the two was heard as they made their way back to the mansion.
