(Jeff's POV)

"So Jeff, what are we going to do about your brother?"

Liu, huh?

I tried to kill him and now he's trying to get revenge.

He went so far as to keeping me in his basement to torture me despite his superiors' orders.

It's true what they say. The past will come to haunt you.

Nevertheless, I still love him.

He might not be the same brother I once loved but he is the only family I have left.

I know there's still a chance for him to change.

"We leave him alone." I replied.

Everyone was left in shock and confusion.

"But he-"

"He's broken because of me. He's insane just as much as any of us in this room.

He might not be the same. But I know deep inside there's still something left of my brother.

He can still forgive me. I admit that may take a while. And if he does... I want him to be part of us.

There's still a chance for him to change.

And I don't want to take away that chance." I explained.

We heard clapping from the door.

"Well said little brother." We turned to see none other than Liu himself.

"How did you get here?" We all exclaimed.

"Turns out that portal can let me enter just fine. I wouldn't say I didn't have trouble though." He smirked.

"What do you want?" Slender asked

"I accept."

"You what?"

"I accept that offer. I'll gladly stay here."

"You forgive me?" I asked

"Don't get me wrong. I'm still going to kill you. But after that stunt I pulled, I doubt my colleagues would just let me off the hook." He explained.

"Good luck with that, we're immortal here." Jane retorted.

"I find ways." He shrugged

"We can't just-"

"Nah, let him stay." I cut Jane off.

She looked at me with a questioning look.

"So I'm going to live with someone who vowed to kill me. Big whoop." I shrugged.

"It's not the first time." I gave Jane a side hug.

"Fine. But I still don't trust you." She pointed at him.

"How could you just let him stay here?" Jane complained as I lied on my bed. We were in my room.

"I thought I already made it clear. I want to give him a chance to forgive me." I repeated.

"Even after everything he did?" She raised her eyebrow.

"It's nothing I can't handle. I mean, you managed to slit my throat once. And that would've killed me if we were in the human world." I pointed out.

"But-" she started.

"Do I have to kiss you again to make you stop?" I joked.

"Okay, I'll stop." She said in defeat.
