The walk in the woods seemed to take forever as Jane was conflicteda in her thoughts. Should she really be doing this? Slender and the others would probably freak out, andaaaapwe
endangering herself to rescue Jeff as soon as possible seemed to be illogical. He should be fine on his own long enough until dawn and going with the others would have given her a better chance to fend of any enemies. But as stupid as it sounds, she still chose to go save him herself immediately, without anyone else but Smile knowing. Come to think of it, they would probably be surprised to find that her of all people would go off on her own to save him, sure she seemed depressed by his disappearance but the others wouldn't really expect her to risk her own life to save his.

Going back to reality, they walked a good distance from the mansion already. Smile led her to a part of the woods she never came across yet, though she never seemed to notice as she was distracted by her thoughts. The rustling of bushes got both their attentions. Alarmed they looked around and observed their surroundings to see if they would see more movement. After a few seconds, nothing happened so they decided to continue onwards by running fast.

"Hey Smile do you think the others already know where Jeff is supposed to be?" Jane asked in wonder, if they didn't know yet and Smile was their only chance of knowing, she wasn't only risking her own life but Smile's as well plus the others wouldn't be able to help if they didn't know where they were supposed to go. "Not exactly, Zalgo has a lot of hideouts and they every single one of them, unless he added new ones but they don't know which hideout their keeping Jeff in. She nodded in response. Then that would mean that if Smile didn't return soon, they would take longer to help in saving the white hooded killer. They stopped walking and looked at the ground, where Smile was facing. He dug through the dirt and found what appears to be some kind of underground hidden entrance "Smile, I want you to go back to the mansion the moment I step in Zalgo's base." The raven haired girl ordered "But what about you? Wouldn't you need help?" The dog looked at her in worry "I can handle myself, you just go and tell the others where this place is." She insisted, the dog surrendered to her request. "Alright I'll come back as soon as I can." He stated running off back to the woods. Taking a deep breath she opened the metal lid that was surprisingly unlocked. Looking down a metal ladder was on the wall, slowly climbing down until she reached the bottom. The place was dark while some areas were brightly lighted, seeing as the dim areas could be used to hide in. She blended through the shadows and listened for any footsteps ringing through the hallways.
Only silence was heard, taking this opportunity she walked pass doors, looking through the small square windows every now and then. Each room led to a variety of the cliche where every bad guy would have something sinister behund those doors. A table with cuffs covered in blood, which also dripped on the walls. Rooms with bunk beds, another room with a table except this time there were no cuffs, just a table with two seats facing each other, she assumed it was some kind of interrogation room. Suddenly hearing footsteps she went into the room, hiding inn the shadows. She saw who came in, eyes wide as she saw the man she was looking for, she almkst gasped but immediately covered her mouth with her hand seeing the other figure behind him, the familiar red demon. Glaring at the demon as if the intensity of her gaze would cut through him, she looked back at Jeff who seemed casual about everything happening.
"I see that everything is going as planned, I hope that everything is to your liking." Zalgo said with a less ominous and more friendly voice as if welcoming the smirking killer. "Yes everything is going as planned and is to my liking. I hope it will continue on, till the end." Jeff replied also with a friendly tone, much to her confusion. Maybe he's faking it? I guess he's still keeping up his act huh? Well, I guess its better to go with the flow than to oppose him. He is in his hideout after all, he would be in a disadvantage if he ever did. She thought. "I definitely will hold up to my end of the bargain, although I can't tell when you will hold yours." The demon added the killer shrugged. "I don't care when or what I would have to do to hold of my end, but I think you should just hold it for now. We're not finished just yet." He replied "You know, I already heard you explain before, but I just don't get it, why would you go through so much trouble to set all this up?" The red creature wondered sitting down on one of the chairs while Jeff sat on the other side of the table, also sitting down. "I won't explain it again, but I will say this. Its just really important to me, I figured she needed a little push, and this would give her the right push." The raven haired man replied which again, led to her confusion. He didn't seem to be acting, he was casual and relaxed almost sincere even. And what was he talking about? Who is 'she' and 'what would give her the right push' and 'why would she need a little push'? Question after another kept popping up into her head, she was definitely confused now.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a black and white elf that burst into the room, he looked like BEN except he had no other color other than black and white.
"What's the matter?" Zalgo asked turning from hhis seat. "Our base has been breeched by an unknown Pasta with a dog." He stated catching the creature's and Jeff's attention, Zalgo motioned him to continue. "I followed them but they noticed and ran away, I lost track of them and decided to just report it to you." the mysterious BEN looking man answered "Well they sure are early." Zalgo commented the killer shrugged "Good work, Dark Link. I'll take it from here." The red demon turned back to the man, she now knew was called Dark Link. Link nodded and exited the door, while the two others followed. The girl sighed, waiting for a few more seconds for them to walk away a bit further, so she could follow behind unnoticed. Hiding in the shadows once more they followed them into another room. She was about to open the door only to be stopped by a sudden stab to her shoulder. Yelping in surprise, she jumped back away from her attacker. Looking up from her wound which was now bleeding, she saw that Dark Link was the one that attacked her. "So this is your weapon, your just like him huh?" Link commented fiddling with her knife which was soaked in her blood. "And you look just like BEN, tell me why is that?" She spat back holding her injured arm. Fighting back would be difficult if he had her weapon. Taking a defensive position readying herself to evade any attacks. "Yeah, a lot of people said that too. Although as you can see, we can easily be differentiated by our color." He crossed his arms almost annoyed by her question. "Now that your defenseless, I'm sure you won't have a hard time to surrender." He stated as he threw the knife across the room, she grunted in response.
