My Best Frenemy (Jeff x Jane)

Friendship Progresses

She sighed as she saw the pretty sight once more. The girl kept looking at the sky that was splashed in red, orange and yellow. The killer heard footsteps behind her but decided to ignore it. Feeling movement she turned to her side, seeing Jeff sit next to her.
"How many times have we already seen this together?" She smiled at him, the killer shrugged as a response. "But you know, out of all those times we watched this. This is my favorite." He stated looking at the horizon. "Why?" She turned to him, he faced her. "Because this time, we really are friends." He smiled and she smiled back.
"I have another question for ya." Jane stated "Sure shoot." He gestured her to continue "Is Zalgo like, an old friend with you guys? And was the whole he's powerful enough to bend laws thing true?" She wondered "Yeah, he's an old friend of Slendy's and yes that's true. He is powerful enough but I don't think he wants to." He replied "Then what about the world domination bid?" She asked "Jane, the entire thing was scripted from me being slammed back to the wall to you ending up here. Though I think the stab on your shoulder  could've been avoided." He added looking at her wound feeling guilty. "Nah, its fine." She waved at him. After a few more minutes of silence and looking out to the sun. "Let's go back already, the others might get worried." She stood up and brushed off any leaves that may have stuck to her clothes. "Okay." He obliged and stood up following behind her back to the mansion.

"Took you guys long enough." BEN commented as they went through the front door. "Something caught up so we dealed with it." Jane said as an excuse "By something you mean the sunrise and by dealing with it you mean watching it for who knows how long? Then you dealed with it rreeaal good." EJ countered, probably smirking under his mask. "How did you? Were you spying on us?" Jeff raised an eyebrow. "Maybe, or I just happened to walk by and see you two." He reasoned shrugging as he said that. "By the way, your a real sweet talker Jeff." BEN teased nudging his best friend "What are you talking about?" The white hooded killer replied, confused at his teasing. "Oh you know what I mean." BEN winked "Yeah Jeff. Out of all the sunsets and sunrises we've seen. This one is my favorite." EJ mocked much to the killers annoyance and Jane's snickering "Why?" BEN mocked Jane this time, creating a non convincing surprised face, which made Jane stop laughing "Because this time we're finally real friends!" They both mocked at the same time and laugjed their butts off, the two killers we're both embarrassed and annoyed. Clenching their fist tightly, someone tapped Jane's shoulder. Looking up to see Clockwork handing them their knives and winking at her, the girl gave her a thankful expression and nodded. Handing Jeff his knife they slowly crept behind the two laughing Pastas, menacingly looking down on them. The two finally stopped laughing and looked at the two angry knife weilding killers. Now having terrified expressions they slowly walked backwards before shouting a run and dash to their rooms. The two killers that were left behind just laughed it off and gave each other a high five.

A few days have past and they friendship seemed to hhave grown stronger. They found out more about each other and they were surprised to know that they had a lot in common. Although with the things they didn't agree on let's just say it always ends up in a war zone. Not really, but they would always bicker non stop even asking others for opinion ultimitely leading to none of their preferences and it would end with a draw. Nevertheless they enjoyed each others company so much so that they would even hunt with each other sometimes. Their ever growing friendship's progress pleased them both as an everyday accomplishment. In fact, they grown so close that BEN even joked that he was being replaced by the black-eyed girl. Everyone laughed at his joke and decided to go spend the rest of the day with a movie marathon.  The last movie, currently playing portrayed trouble making siblings who decided to set up their divorced parents to fall inlove and remarry. Just as the film rolled its credits showing the now complete amd happy family with the kids always working together even more so,having them reunited.

The image of sibling love triggered a memory in Jane, looking at the ssmirking killer mext to her. She tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey Mr. Smiley." She decided to keep the nickname, the man turned his gaze from the screen which was now depicting credits. "Yeah?" He asked "Do you ever think of your brother every now and then?" She wondered "Well yeah, I mean out of everyone in my family, he was the one person I regretted killing the most." He looked down on the ground trying to frown. "Sorry I asked Jeffrey." She looked down with him, ashamed of making him remember something he didn't want to. "Its alright, I think he's fine wherever he is now." He smiled reassuringly at her and stpod up. Outstretched his arm to help her get up, seeing as the movie was over. Getting reaady for bed, they all went into a peaceful slumber. Well, everyone except the white hooded killer, he was looking at his ceiling not bothering to attempt to sleep anymore as he failed the precious times he tried. "Maybe I'll visit your ggrave tomorrow." He said as his consciousness slowly drifted away, yanking down his sleeping mask just in time before he too was incased in a slumber.
