Chapter Eight
                              "Best place to have sex?"
"Definitely the backseat of a truck."
                              "Best time to have sex?"
"Write when your period ends, because you just went a week without penis."
                              "Favorite position to have sex?"
                              "Vanilla is my favorite."
I glanced over at Lincoln and Sadie, my eyes wide behind my sunglasses. I'd been completely left out of their conversation for the past ten minutes because the topic had been sex, which I didn't know much about. "You guys are making me so uncomfortable."
Sadie smirked. "You'll be able to answer the Cosmopolitan questionnaires for yourself one of these days."
Lincoln laughed, adjusting her bikini bottoms and leaning back in her lounge chair. "I'm not as experienced as Sadie either, Dallis. Don't feel bad."
I glanced over a Sadie, a small smile on my lips. "See, even Lincoln thinks you're a slut."
Sadie shot me a huge grin, her eyebrows raised. "I can't help that I like the male genitalia."
I rolled my eyes, putting my hand to my forehead. "I'm so done with this topic."
"Well, what would you like to talk about then?" Lincoln asked, taking a sip from her water bottle.
I stared out at the extremely large pool that nearly fifty people were swimming in, including the boys and Cealy. Whenever we'd all woken up around ten, we all made a unanimous decision and put our bathing suits. Even though this hotel was packed, the sun still felt amazing which made it all worth it.
Before I could respond, I felt my phone vibrating from under my thigh. I inwardly groaned, reaching for it and glancing at the screen. It was another text from Drew.
I guess I wasn't being completely fair with him, because it wasn't really his fault that all of this had happened. And it wasn't like I could say he wasn't being understanding, because he didn't really know the full story. I just really didn't feel like dealing with him, and that was kind of a piss poor excuse.
Are you okay? I miss you
I read the text over and over until I decided that I might as well reply, even though I wasn't sure if it was the smartest decision.
I'm fine. I miss you too
Not even five seconds after the message sent, he had replied. I let out a deep breath. I knew this was going to happen. Now he wasn't going to leave me alone.
Where are you? I wish you would come home.
I'm in Nevada. I'll be home the week after next.
                              Nevada? Wtf
                              I have to go.
I rested my head against the back of the lounge chair, anticipating whatever Drew was going to say next.
Please call me. I want to hear your voice.
                              He sounded so pathetic.
                              I have to go.
I turned my phone off and slid it into my bag, hoping that he would take that as a sign that I didn't want to hear his groveling.
"That's the first time I've seen you text since the trip started," Lincoln said, staring over at me.
I sighed. "I figured I should respond to at least one of Drew's desperate texts."
"So where do you guys stand?" Sadie asked, pointing to the ring that was still on my finger. "You're still wearing the ring, so you guys are obviously still together."
