{A/N; this is a filler I couldn't write what's gonna happen all in one chapter without revealing too much so I wrote this chapter to prepare for the next one things about to go down guys get ready :D}
Steph POV
"So you want to be with me?" She asked cautiously as if she might be taking this the wrong way.
"I wanna learn to." I tell her. She nods and smiles. But something deep inside of me made this feel wrong as a pictures of Aaliyah kept replaying on repeat in my mind but I tried to ignore them knowing that would only hold me back.
"We will get through this you have me." She smiled genuinely and I forced one back.
Aaliyah POV
It's been 5 hours and somehow it still felt fresh in my mind. I wanted to sleep but I just didn't have the energy to close my eyes. I couldn't act like things were ok when they weren't. I felt even worse that I was keeping Klay up.
"Klay please go to bed." I begged for the fourth time tonight. He yawns.
"No I'm fine Aaliyah I need to be there for you since my friend want to be a dumb ass." He rasps his words mumbling at the end.
"Come on Klay." I whisper lifting the covers motioning him to the bed. He squints his eyes but slowly shuffle across the floor then sliding in. I lay my head on the pillow as there is a big space between us. I suddenly feel a dip closer to me. A hand wraps around my waist. My breath slowed. Instinctively I lay my head on his chest as I felt his body relax more. My eyes began to fill heavy just like my heart. But at this moment I was content for right now and it was strange how satisfied I felt like this. It honestly scared me.
