Attack on Bangtan

Jieun carried the heavy bag of 12 lunch boxes up the road to the dance studio that her cousin had invited her to. She was so anxious to see her cousin but nervous to be in front of all of his band mates. She kept thinking to herself, why did she agree to come? Why is she doing this? 

She finally arrived to the dance studio and opened the glass doors to stairs leading down to the basement. She could hear music and sneakers squeaking on the floors. She slowly walked down the stairs and she could feel her palms getting sweaty. She got closer to the door where she knew on the other side would be her cousin and the rest of Bangtan. Jieun took a deep breath and pushed the doors opened. 

At that moment everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look at her. They looked at her with such shock. Well, why wouldn't they. There she was, this random girl in her school uniform, sweating from all the uphill walking, and her hair was probably a mess. Jieun looked around panicking to spot out Kook. But she didn't see him. She gulped. Was this the wrong address? Did she just embarrassed herself in front of strangers? She took a step back ready to run out. Suddenly Jungkook walks out from the back room drinking a water bottle. He noticed everyone had stopped and turned to look at what they were all staring at too. 

"Jieun-ah!" He shouted and ran to her.

"Oh, Kook-ah." She sighed in relief. "I brought the lunch." She handed the heavy bag towards him.

He took it from her hands laughing. "Haha, thanks. Come say hi to everyone." He led her towards the guys that were standing around. Jieun couldn't believe it, she was going to meet Bangtan. The one's on TV. The one's that all the girls in school rave about.

"This is Hoseok hyung." He introduces J-Hope to her. "He's the best dancer."

"This is Seokjin hyung." He introduces Jin to her. "He is the oldest hyung."

"This is Namjoon hyung." He introduces Rap Mon to her. "He's our leader."

"This is Yoongi hyung." He introduces Suga to her. "He's a great producer."

"This is Taehyung hyung." He introduces V to her. "He's the funniest."

"And this is Jimin hyung." He introduces Jimin to her. "He's from Busan too." 

He turned to all the other guys "This is Mr. Song and all our dancer hyungs."

Jieun bowed to everyone "Hello, my name is Jieun. I'm Jungkook's cousin." everyone bowed to her too. Suddenly V walked up to her. "Jungkook told us you were visiting, we just didn't know that it was today. Nice to meet you." Making a funny face, he shook her hand. Jieun laughed.

J-Hope pushed him to the side. "Yah yah yah, stop scaring her." Jieun suddenly remembered why she was there. She took the bag out of Jungkook's hand. "I brought lunch. For everyone." she said awkwardly. All the guys cheered. Except one guy. Jimin. He didn't seem interested at all as to what Jieun had brought. All the other guys lined up to Jieun as she passed out the boxes. Everyone sat down on the studio floor and started eating. Jieun walked over to the couches to sit down, and as she sat Jimin got right up and left to the back room. She realized that he didn't line up to get a lunch box. She looked in her bag but realized that they were all gone. She had only made 12. And there was 13 of them. Oh no. She thought. She wanted to make a good impression on everyone and she screwed up by not making enough lunch boxes. She quickly ran over to Jungkook who was eating with the rest of Bangtan. 

She whispered to him "I forgot to make a lunch box for your friend." She pointed to the back room where Jimin went. 

Jungkook knew she was talking about Jimin and replied "It's alright I'll give him some of mines."

"Are you sure? I feel bad" Jieun said fumbling her fingers.

Suga over heard them and assured her. "It's alright he'll be fine."

V looked up at her with a full mouth. "Jimin hyung is on a diet, so he won't eat anyways."

Everyone assured her to not worry about Jimin and that he's on a diet so he doesn't want to eat anything anyways. But Jieun couldn't help but feel bad. After everyone finished eating Mr. Song, their dance teacher had them practice one more time. Jimin came back out from the back room and everyone began to get into their positions. 

Jungkook gave a camera to Jieun. "Can you film our dance? We need someone to record us."

"Sure." She smiled and took the camera and go in a spot where she could see all of them.

They started the song Attack on Bangtan and began to dance. Jieun was so amazed at all the energy the boys gave into the song. She found herself enjoying the music more and more. She's never really listen to their songs. Maybe only to No More Dream, but that's only because that was her cousins debut song. BTS's songs weren't so bad. And she could see that they were working hard. At the end of the dance practice they all exited the dance studio and said their goodbyes to Mr. Song and their dancer hyungs. Jieun and the Bangtan Boys stood outside on the street in front of the studio. 

"Thanks for the food. It was nice meeting you." Namjoon said. Jin agreed "Yeah, the food was great."

"Come back next time. It was fun having you around." V said.

Jungkook hugged her goodbye and they walked their separate ways home. Meeting them wasn't so bad Jieun thought. They were so nice to her and joked around with her. When she got home she debated whether to call her best friend, Nari, or not. Nari was a big fan of kpop bands. She knew lots about the idol culture. Before she could decide her phone rang. She looked at caller i.d. and it was Nari.

She answered "Hello?"

"What did you do today?" Nari asked straight away. Jieun hesitated. She couldn't lie to Nari.

"I met Bangtan Boys today." 

There was silence.
