Ashley's POV
Zach and I were cuddled on his bed, me laying in his chest sobbing. That was one of the most scariest things ever. That ass is really gonna have it when I get the chance. Zach and I were surrounded by a pool of weapons that I brought over, plus his sword that he usually keeps locked in his dresser.
After a few minutes I stopped crying and grabbed Zach's hand. He leaned in and kissed me.
"Zach, give me your phone I have to call Max." It took Zach a few minutes to find it his phone, he threw it on the bed as soon as we arrived. I took max's number out of my purse and dialed.
I had to call him like 10 times before he answered.
"Hello." Max sounded like he had been crying, or at least pretty close to it.
"Hey max it's me Ashley. Are you okay?" Max sighed.
"No. Asia's kidnapper showed up at the door. He handed me a letter, with a picture of Asia inside it." Maxwell read the letter barely controlling his breathing. As he was reading a tear was slowly falling down my cheek.
"Max send me a picture of her." I wanted to see what that ass had done to her.
"Ashley trust me you don't want to see the state she's in. You just...don't." his voice cracked.
"Max please. I have to know. Plus this picture can give us clues to her whereabouts." Max paused,. then said he'd call back in a minute. I laid down next to Zach steaming in my own thoughts. He could see my the anxiety on my face and could tell I was going to start crying or maybe even worse, yelling and screaming. Maybe punching.
"You know we will find her, right Ashley?" he said seeing the anger in my eyes. I blinked back the tears that threatened to fall. I felt the knot forming in my throat and swallowed hard. It was hard to imagine those...those bastards hurting Asia. She was small, thin and fragile like a twig. Anyone stronger than her could snap her easily.
Moments later I felt Zach's phone go off. It was a picture message from Max. I opened the message and felt anger pulse in my veins. It was Asia, tied to a chair with her head hanging down, her hair dripping down across her face. She was extremely pale, looked deathly sick and had blood stains on her clothes and what looked like a bandage tied around her arm.
What did that sick bastard do to her?!
"Ashley-" Zach started but before he could I shot him a glare as I examined the picture of my best friend. She also had dark marks on her skin. The marks I recognized easily. Burn marks. I felt sick and disgusted. These sons of a bitches were hurting her, torturing her and were going to be close to killing her. It made my blood boil and my heart race. They were going to kill her. Zach sensed how pissed off I was and he frowned.
"We have to find her." I choked out putting down his phone and sobbing into his shoulder, his arm instinctively wrapping around me. "They're going to fucking kill her in who knows what matter of time if we don't find her." I said wiping my eyes with my sleeve. It was now or never but I had had the last straw. We had to do something, take action, before it was too late.
After a while of a nice needed cry, I let go of Zach. I ran to his computer and brought up Facebook. I decided not to type anything to Whogivesafuckwhatmynameis because the FBI could be monitoring our conversations.
"Zach toss me your phone." Luckily I actually caught it.
I went back and took a look at that picture of Asia, trying to hold back anger and tears. I had to look further past the damage Asia had received. There is more to this picture than just her.
