Asia's POV

A few days passed and it was already Wednesday. I had missed three days of school but I'm sure most of my friends had found out what had happened to me. I waited on my parents to check me out of the hospital patiently and sighed. It was already two thirty and I was trembling and shaking. I looked down at my arms and legs; they were covered in burn marks that would be covered in my skin for a long time. At least until they healed. I didn't want to go to school this way. People would stare at me. I heard my parents walk into the room and my mom reached for my hand.

"Ready to go sweetie?" she asked smiling at me gently. I nodded and stood up, feeling less sore than I did days ago. We walked out of the hospital and to the jeep. I climbed into the back and we started to make our way home. I suddenly realized I didnt have my phone. I couldnt make contact with Max or Thomas Falls. I then remembered most of all, Ashley. She was still missing. My heart ached and I was scared. My best friend was missing and I prayed she wasn't dead, especially with how stubborn and with a mouth she could have.

Could things get any worse?

After a half hour we reached home. It was already three o clock and I was in need of a nap. I went to my room, seeing nothing had changed since Friday. I laid down on my bed feeling the coolness of the covers and rested my eyes, drifting off into dreamland.

Asia help...

My eyes snapped open and I glanced around. A voice spoke and I swore it was Ashley's.

"I must be imagining things." I mumbled tiredly before closing my eyes again. Maybe it was Max's dreamcatcher being screwy with me again. AFter all it is expired. I closed my eyes and just as I was about to go to sleep, I heard Ashley's voice again call for help. My eyes snapped open again. I was in too much panic and I frowned, wanting the urge to sleep but help find my best friend; but  I couldnt.

Instead, I logged onto the computer and pulled up facebook. I had six new notifications and five new messages. Three from Ashley  and two from Thomas. Thomas had asked me what was up and Ashley demanded why I didn't answer my phone. I sighed deeply and clicked on my notification sign. There were posts on my wall from Ashley. Go figure.

After browsing through facebook, talking to a few friends who hadn't heard from me in days (and not surprisingly enough they had found out what had happened.) I logged off. I had to find Ashley. She was my only real best friend since junior year and I couldn't lose her because of me.

"Hey Asia," my dad's head peaked in the door. I looked up from the computer chair.

"You have a friend here to see you. He says his name's Thomas."  I stood up quickly and nearly ran out the door, finding Thomas talking to my mother awkwardly. He then looked at me seriously.

"Hey Thomas.." I said almost awkwardly. I turned to my mother. "Hey mom can I hang out with Thomas for a while?" I asked. She gave me a concerned look. I already knew the reason. I had just admitted myself out of the hospital and I was already wanting to be hanging out with friends again. It was a really big risk.

"I'll watch after her." Thomas said putting an arm around my shoulder gently. My mom finally gave in and we headed to his minivan. As soon as we got in and strapped ourselves in, I took note of all the guns in his back seat. My eyes widened a little.

"Thomas what's going on?" he focused on driving but answered,

"We're going to find Ashley. I dont need to lose the both of you. But first we're going to pick up Max. Tell me where he lives," he said speeding down the road. I took a deep breath and thought of those...goons having Ashley in the boat house. Torturing her and god knows what they were doing to her. I clenched at my seatbelt and Thomas noticed.
