When I arrive home I see Eric sprawled out on the couch, asleep. I let out a sigh and place the carrier and bags on the floor. If he's sleep then I will most likely have to cook dinner, I'm exhausted and I have a rambunctious two year old and a dependent five month old.
I get Lo undressed and in her pajamas, I set out some books and coloring books for her to read and play with while I put Cam down for her nap. I undress my self and put on some comfortable clothes with my hair in a ponytail. I wash my hands before I start preparing dinner. Before the girls were born we lived on takeout and date nights due to us working so hard, I expect Eric to cook dinner because he gets home before me, I pick up the girls and clean up.
I let out a sigh and place the broccoli in the pot, glancing at the living room every once in a while, "Sorry I couldn't make dinner, it was a rough day at work." I roll my eyes at Eric when he walks into the kitchen.
"When is it not?" I mutter, placing the chicken breast with seasonings in the oven. He's the one who always get sleep, but then again if it weren't for him I couldn't handle the bills or expenses for our children.
"What do you mean?" He furrows his eyebrows, leaning against the counter with his arms folded across his chest.
"I mean," I take a deep breath before continuing, "You were home for at least an hour before I got here, you could have started something."
"I'm sorry for wanting a few minutes of sleep before Camryn wakes up screaming in the middle of the night, it's not like she has a snooze button. I still have to hear it." I hear him walking out of the kitchen and I can't help but to mutter how ungrateful he is. Some days Eric and I have really good days but others when we are both tired it is harder on both of us.
With the girls being both young we really can't give them a break to themselves or leave them to unattended. So I would clean the kitchen while Eric gives London her bath.
When the food is finished I make our plates and get London for dinner.

I look at myself in the mirror, a large smile plastered on my face at the pantsuit I chose. My hair is pulled back into a slick ponytail, and my makeup is simple. I feel beautiful—confident. We're having a large meeting with the Archer Daniel's representatives and I want to make my boss proud.
"Mommy, Camy stinky." London wrinkles her nose up and shakes her head at me, I chuckle at her and grab my things before I am out the door. Before I could ask Eric to change her, I see his strong, tattooed, arms lifting a happy Camryn in his arms.
"I already changed her," he gives me a smile before standing to his feet, "You look stunning." He presses a kiss to my forehead and then my lips. Camryn sees me and starts rooting towards my chest.
"I actually just finished pumping, so she's gonna have to take a bottle because I'm running late." I kiss all three of their heads and then head out.

My heels click against the tilted floor as I make my way to the familiar conference room. I push open the door and take a seat next to my boss who is already sitting there patiently, I give him a nod and sit down in my chair, "George, do you know when the reps are coming?" I question.
"I believe in five minutes, I got a call not too long ago telling me that they were on their way. I looked over the plans and they were pretty good, past my expectations, my markings are in red that indicates the changes." I nod my head at him and turn towards the opening door. Amar Obè, Boss and director of A.D, walks in with a suit on and gives George a large smile. A lady walks in, she's pretty and confidence screams off of her body language. . . a little too much. I believe her name is Nita Lopez, then a new worker walks in that I've never seen before and I'm glad I was sitting down. He has dark brown curls and beautiful dark, blue, mysterious eyes that makes me want him to share his deepest, darkest, secrets. He stands tall and confident but something else about him see's. . . off, not bad but good. Maybe a mixture.
