Scarlette's POV
"So what do you want to watch?" my dad asked from the living room.
"Um how about Dirty Dancing?" I suggested and I could hear him laugh. "What?" I giggled.
"You have always loved this movie ever since you were little. Any time you were upset you would pick this and you would end up with this huge smile on your face at the end of the movie." he answered and I couldn't help but smile.
"Wow you would think you like know me or something." I smiled walking into the living room with pop corn and drinks.
"Well I have been told that I was there when you were born." he said taking the popcorn from my hands and setting it in between us.
"Can we get dinner in a little bit?" I asked shoving a little handful of popcorn in my mouth.
"How about we order pizza?" he suggested taking his phone from his back pocket.
"Sounds good to me." I smiled.
Grayson's POV
"Who did this?" my mom asked but I didn't even feel like talking.
"I don't know." I answered simply.
"I'm going to call Mr. Cassidy and see if he saw who did this." she sighed before walking back to her room.
"Who did it Gray?" Ethan asked sitting beside me on the floor.
"Toby, Alex and Jared." I answered as I struggled to find a more comfortable position.
"Wait Alex?" he asked as if he was shocked.
"Yeah?" I answered as more of a question. "Just because he was here last night being all nice to you doesn't mean he would be nice to me." I added and he shook his head.
"Wait yesterday, did he see Scarlette?" he asked jumping up and slipping on his shoes.
"I don't think so, why?" I asked but he was already out the door.
"Mr. Cassidy didn't see who did it." my mom said walking back out of her room. "Where's your brother?" she asked.
"He just went for a walk." I answered picking up my water to take a small sip. She nodded her head in understanding then started to walk away.
"Hey mom can you hand me my phone?" I asked and she quickly turned around and gave it to me.
Grayson: hey Scar do you know if Alex saw you yesterday??
Scar: no I don't think so
Scar: I hid under the covers before anyone could see us
Scar: well except or Ethan lol
Grayson: okay just making sure
Scar: you okay?
Grayson: uh Toby, Alex and Jared kinda payed me a visit
Scar: Grayson what do you mean
Grayson: let's just say I'm not able to get off the couch
Scar: GRAYSON OHMYGOD DO YOU WANT ME TO COME OVER
Grayson: no no no stay home with your dad
Grayson: I'll be fine
Scar: are you sure??
Grayson: yes I am
Grayson: have fun with your dad :)
Scar: okay fine
Scar: I will be over tomorrow though
Grayson: okay I can't wait
I truly couldn't wait, I was so excited to see her. I needed to be able to feel her lips on mine, her hands in my hair, her small delicate body on top of mine.
Scarlette's POV
*ding dong*
"Pizza is here." I said to my dad.
"What you want me to get it?" he asked pausing the movie.
"Well duh." I giggled taking the popcorn off his lap.
"If I must." he groaned before getting off the couch and walking to the door.
I was bored with waiting so I picked up my dad's phone and unlocked it. I went to his messages just because and saw something I didn't expect.
Adelaide: I want to see my daughter, Eli
Eli: She doesn't want to see you!
Adelaide: Are you sure you didn't tell her that I was dead or something?
Eli: You were sick. Hell even I thought you were dead.
Adelaide: Okay well I'm not so you can tell her the truth and give me rights to see her.
Eli: No I'm not letting you see my daughter.
Adelaide: Eli she is my daughter also. I gave birth to the damn kid.
Eli: She isn't a damn kid Adelaide! She is my daughter and you will get no rights to see her. I'm going to get a restraining order if you try to find her.
Adelaide: See this is why I walked away from you. God you are such a dick! Why can't you ever tell the truth to someone?
Eli: I can tell the truth just sometimes it's better not to.
Adelaide: It is always better to tell the truth no matter how much it hurts someone! I will find my daughter and I will tell her everything.
Eli: I'll text you when the restraining order is in place.
I threw his phone back into his spot before he walked over with the pizza. I was so mad and confused but I couldn't show it or else he would know I went through his phone.
"What's wrong sweetie?" my dad asked plopping himself back down on the couch.
"What if I find her instead of her finding me?" I asked and he turned towards me quickly.
"Excuse me?" he asked then looked down to see his phone opened. "Scarlette?" he asked and I got up.
"WHY?" I yelled which made him jump slightly. "She is right. She gave birth to me so she has to have some rights and yes she did walk out on us but from the looks of it that's all because of you." I added before running off to my room. I slammed my door and locked it before grabbing my phone.
"Grayson." I whispered angrily.
"Yes?" he asked with a little bit of pain behind his voice.
"I'm coming over." I said putting some clothes in a bag.
"What? Uh okay." he replied a little confused.
"Get a bag ready." I ordered.
"Wait what? Scarlette what's going on?" he asked with a confused tone.
"I'll explain when I get there." I said before hanging up, turning off my light and slipping out my window.
