I jolted up from my sleep as our English teacher smacked the text books into my desk. "Taking a nap are you miss Callaghan?? Do that elsewhere!" he barked and slapped the back of my head with his notebook. I massaged my neck.

Mr. Barney is undoubtedly the worst teacher I've ever had. He's the worst of the worst, and absolutely hideous. First of all, he's a douche. But other than that he smells like nicotine, and his breath.. I don't even want to think about it. He's probably a drunk too, wouldn't surprise me. And his fingernails.. The most disgusting thing I've seen, ever!

He was going to make me pay for this. For falling asleep in his class. He sent me a deadly glare as he handed out some sheets to the class. Due to my small nap, I had no clue what we were doing. I never sleep during class, simply because I never manage to fall asleep, there's too many things that distract me.

The school bell rang, enabling us to escape the class room. Dani and I wasn't speaking, so waiting for her wasn't an option. But I had to get a hold of Drake before she did. I had to speak to him alone. I had no plans of letting Dani know about anything. Especially not what happened last night. Dani tagged along with some of the other kids, who was very clearly unhappy with her presence.

Luckily, I knew exactly where to find him. As always, he was standing in the smoking area. Unfortunately, he wasn't alone. A bunch of guys and girls I didn't know the name of was gathered around him. What was it about him that had all the girls go crazy? The guys too in fact. He's always the center of attention.

I pushed past the blabbering teenagers, and paved my way towards him. It obviously startled him when I tugged at his sleeve. He raised one eyebrow with a cocky smile.

"Couldn't stay away any longer now could you?" he teased. It took enough courage to walk up to him, and having all the other's eyes on me didn't actually help. On the contrary, I could feel my legs starting to shake.

"I knew you weren't capable of playing hard to get" he continued as I dragged him away from the crowd, and guided him around a corner.

Drake's back was leaned against the brick wall, a toothy grin spreading across his face. "I need you to answer some questions!" I snarled and crossed my arms over my swiftly moving chest.

"An interrogation huh? I can picture you as a cop. Like a sexy cop kinda thing" he chuckled and scanned my body.

"Spare yourself Drake! Where is Luke?!" I snapped, and threw a glance over my shoulder, only to realize that we were alone. Drake just shrugged, the smirk fading from his futures. "Listen to me, you little shit! This is important! Where. Is. Luke?!".

"Not here" he carelessly muttered, and looked away from my glare.

"If you know, tell me!".

"He's gone missy. And he's not coming back. Not anytime soon" he shifted from his position, and attempted to walk back to his pals, but I grabbed his arm.

"Drake, if you know something. Tell me" I pleaded.

"I can't help you sweet heart" no cheeky or perverted smirk was to be seen in his face.

"Alright, just please tell me something" I struggled to stop him from walking away from me, and I was almost on my knees by the time he gave me the answer.

"Oakwood road, a small pub in the middle of no where, about a thirty minutes ride from here, can't miss it" he sighed and gave me a faint smile before strolling back to his gang.

Seventeen. Seventeen calls. No answers. I was counting. This was the seventeenth call I'd made today. But Luke still didn't reply. I was starting to get really worried, and I was so close to ditching the rest of the classes to go to 'Oakwood Road'. That was the only thing on my mind.

All the schoolwork was pushed aside, and I was just staring at the wall, deeply concentrated. What was waiting for me in that one bar? What were there to find there, that could count as any help to find Luke. He hadn't given me a clue at all. I was considering to ask him, but I didn't want to seem desperate.

And how was I going to get there. I could call my grandma though. She can always drive me. Anytime, anywhere. No questions asked. She can be a bit of a nuisance, and she talks a lot. And by a lot, I mean a lot. There is times when she actually calls my friends, not that I know how she got their numbers..

"Oh hi, how are you?" a cheery voice answered the phone.

"Hello grandma, can you do me favor?" I asked before she managed to start on some pointless story she had already told me about ten times.

"Of course sweety, what can I help you with? Do you want me to buy you something, I have a few chocolate bars I can bring you. I bought them on sale, I can buy more if you want to..".

"No grandma." I interrupted. "All I need you to do is drive me somewhere" I awaited her answer.

"Where are you going?".

"To a place, I'm just.. There's something I have to do. It wont take long, I think. It's just an in and out kind of situation, but I have to get it done today" I mumbled.

"Of course, where is it?".

"Oakwood Road. I haven't been there before but.." I was interrupted.

"If you don't know where it is, I can't take you there, you can't ask me to..".

"Grandma!" I moaned. "GPS?" I continued. She's a little behind in the electronic world. What am I saying? She's very far behind. "I have an app on my phone, let me handle it. If you could just pick me up at school. That would be great, bye" I put the phone back in my pocket and sat down on the boulders to wait for her to arrive.

"Hop inside" my granny's voice interrupted my thoughts. Her ramshackle old car was parked a few feet away from me, the car dor open, waiting for me to enter. I immediately obeyed and soon, we were back on the road.

"How was school, did you get any grades yet? Do you have a lot of homework? You know that you're uncle is a math teacher, he can help you with a thing or two" she babbled while I was staring out of the window.

"Yes grandma, I know. You've only told me about a hundred times" I groaned.

"Don't be so grumpy" she protested.

"I have a lot to deal with, and too much to think about. Things are a bit rough lately, so don't expect me to act my best. I just can't put up with my problems right now" I massaged my temples as my head was aching.

"Anything I can help you with?" she asked as she took a turn.

"No. If you would be so nice and not talk, I would really appreciate it. I have a headache, and your chitter chatter is not really helping" I kept staring out the window, watching things as they passed by. For once, my grandma actually stayed quiet. A small pub caught my eye, by the side of the road.

"Stop, stop, stop the car!" I shouted and jolted up from my relaxed position. The car stopped dead. My eyes scanned the building. "This is it, just stay in the car" I mumbled before exiting, and walked up the driveway.
