"Shut your face!" I spat and scrutinized the cheeky boy that was grinning at me from inside the car.

"Do you want a ride or not?" his smile was replaced with an annoyed frown.

"Yes Drake, I would very much like a ride" I gave him a goofy smile and entered the army green Volvo.

"What kind of ride?" he gave me a perverted smirk as I sat down. "Just messing with ya" I laughed inwardly and swayed my head with short, quick, irregular vibratory movements despairingly.

"Don't be a bloody pervert Drake" I chuckled. I know me and Drake didn't really come out on the right foot. But I was actually starting to find him quite enjoyable. But soon, my smile was exchanged with a more serious look, causing Drake to end his jests. "I've been meaning to talk to you about something.." I began. "Why did you send me to Sebastian? When all along, you're the one who possesses what I've been searching for?".

He gulped and tightened his grasp around the steering wheel, trying not to meet my gaze. "Well.." he mumbled and gripped his lower lip with his teeth. "I was.. Hoping, that he would keep his fucking mouth shut!" the sentence was started calmly but evolved into rage, and at the sound of 'fucking', he slammed his fists into the wheel with physical strength.

I jerked back in my seat by his reaction, my breathing becoming irregular. "You, you could just have.. L-lied?" I spoke with involuntary breaks and pauses.

"Now, what's the fun of that?" he increased the volume of his voice. I didn't like the way he looked at me. Madness. There were madness in his eyes. "I'll flay that son of a bitch!" he hit the pedal, boosting the speed of the car.

"D-Drake... Stop the car.. Please?" I wailed stifled, while tiny droplets of salty tears ran down my cheeks. "You're scaring me".

"I'm scaring you huh? Well, you should be scared! Then it's up to me to finish what Sebastian didn't have the balls to do" he growled, and stopped the car. "Congratulations, your wish is granted" he chuckled and unfastened his seat belt.

"Stop it! Stop it!" I cried as he moved closer to me. "You can't do this! You're supposed to be his best friend. If he knows about this.." one of his rough hands covered my mouth.

"Exactly, when he knows about this, he will be relieved" he let go again, and increased the space between us a little. "You really don't know why he left, do you?" he let out a ghoulish laughter. "You, my dearest friend, are the reason he left. He wanted to get the hell out of here before it was too late".

"Before what was too late?" I know it's a bad idea to defy him, but I deserved some truth before I died.

"Before he fell in love with you" he dragged a fatal knife out from his pocket and stroked it in a ghastly way. "Before he did the same mistake a second time. And thanks to me, he never will" he sent me another foul smirk before pressing the blade against my throat. "So easy, just a slid and you will be dead".

"You're insane" I sobbed and held my breath in fright.

He started laughing that sinister laugh again. "I don't even know what I'm doing with this.. Stupid knife!" he threw it away in one quick motion. "He will thank me for this" fingers were buried in my shoulder blades.

"No, STOP! What mistake??" I attempted to drag out the time.

"You want to know the story huh? Cute.. Well.. Can't say sweet heart" gloomy dark eyes stared down at me. They had grown darker, and darker. To the point where they were almost black. "What makes you so valuable to keep alive huh?" he got a hold of my chin, and tilted my head upwards. I stayed silent. "Why should I spare your sorry life?".
