The Proposal
It was a late night in the lab, and you were helping Bruce with new computers and this new formula for a remedy that would apparently cure Tony's hangovers.  You were in sweatpants, a tank top, and a white lab coat, not the fanciest of looks, but your messy bun added an extra touch of quirk. You had decided to work on the computers, as Bruce knew the recipe for this strange remedy. As you were typing codes into the computer, Bruce handed you a slice of pizza and a glass of water.
"Thanks hun! You almost done with that formula?" You kissed him on the cheek and looked back to your computer.
"Yeah, you?" Bruce said taking a bite of pizza. "Well I'm almost done writing the new program, just a question. Do you think that I should add in a protection software or does the programming already include that?" You asked.
Bruce didn't answer for a while, you turned to him and he was looking right into your eyes. "Umm, hello? Distracted much," you chuckled as Bruce blushed. "Sorry you just look wonderful today. Oh and I wouldn't add in the software, it's pretty much useless." Bruce smiled and ran his hands through his hair, letting out an uneasy sigh. "You alright there Bruce?" You asked as he breathed in heavily. "Actually, um just a question." Bruce turned you around to see what he had been working on. There were numerous tubes connecting to different jars of liquids. "This is one strange remedy," you shrugged and followed Bruce closer to the experiment. "Um stand here and watch," Bruce chuckled nervously and dropped a few cubes of dry ice into bowls of coloured water and soap. The pink liquid bubbled up turned into smoke when it flowed over the bowl. Bruce then added a chemical into a dark blue jar, causing it to react and make blue smoke travel through some clear tubing. He did this to each jar, green and orange smoke travelling through each tube. You stood back in awe as you noticed the tubes were formed into words, "LOOK BEHIND YOU. " you smiled as you spun behind you. On the computer there was a slideshow that popped up onto the screen. It included pictures of you and Bruce and memories you had together. Near the end of the slideshow a video played. All of the team members showed up on screen, grinning like school children. "We love you (Y/N)! But someone else loves you more!" Everyone on the screen shouted in unison. Tony walked towards the screen and winked before saying "Take it away Bruce!"
You slowly turned around with tears already falling down your face, to see Bruce kneeled down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand. "I was going to put it in the pizza, but I didn't want you to choke on it..." Bruce gave a nervous grin before standing up and dusting dirt off his knee. You clapped your hands over your mouth. In shock of what just happened. There was a moment of  silence before you crushed Bruce with a huge hug. "Oh my god you are preciously perfect! I could never have asked for someone other than you!" You cried with joy as you slipped the ring on your finger.
"I love you (Y/N)," Bruce whispered.
"FINALLY!" You heard Tony yell from down the hallway. "I BETTER BE THE BEST MAN BRUCE, OR SO HELP ME!"
