The Proposal
Today you woke up in your bed to find that Bucky wasn't there. You started to panic for awhile before you realized a note on his side of the bed.
Hey Doll,
I thought it would be nice if we both went out on a date, since we haven't been on one in a while. Meet me at the park where I first told you that I loved you. I hope you will read this before 10:00am, for that is the time that our date will be held. Love you!
(P.s. Wear that pretty yellow sundress. You look gorgeous in it.)
Your Buck
You smiled at the note before looking at the time. "Holy crap! It's 9:25!" You exclaimed as you ran off the bed (tripping in the process) and hurried to get ready. You managed to find the dress, and paired it with white sandals and a shoulder bag. You quickly put your hair in a braid and sighed as you looked at your clock again. "I'll have to do my makeup in the car," you muttered to yourself as you grabbed the keys and headed out the door. You started to drive to the park, applying mascara and lipgloss at every red light. You finally arrived a few minutes late, giving yourself a quick check in the mirror. "This will have to do!" You said to yourself before getting out of the car. You stared in awe as you walked down the paths of the park. You didn't realize how beautiful the park was until now, since it was usually crowded with small children. You saw Bucky pacing on a hill, looking at his watch. You started to walk up to him calling his name. He turned around and smiled at you as you awkwardly trudged up the hill. "You almost had me worried there Doll," he held out his hand and brought you in to a hug. "Sorry about that," you blushed. Bucky smirked and looked down at your outfit, he grabbed your hand and twirled you around. "Clearly, you were worth the wait."
You shook your head and laughed, he was quite the charmer. You both linked arms and started walking along the path of the park. The place was amazing, there was a lake with small ducks and beautiful flowers that lined all of the pathways. Bucky picked a flower and put it in your hair, claiming that it complimented your eyes. The both of you walked along a pathway until Bucky stopped at a willow tree. But this wasn't any normal willow tree. Underneath it's leaves, there was a secret bench. It was one of Bucky's favourite places to go. It was the place where Bucky first confessed his love to you. "Do you remember this place? It's been a long time since we've been here." Bucky said sitting down on the bench. You sat down with him, smiling at the memories of the place. "I don't think I could ever forget," you sighed leaning on his shoulder. "(Y/N), " Bucky said looking over to you. "This is the first place I ever declared my love for you. That day was one of the best days of my life. It was on that day that I knew you loved me, and that you knew that I loved you back. This place was part of a memory that I'll never forget, and now I want to make another." Bucky kneeled in front of you on the grass, with a smile on his face. Both of your hands cupped your mouth, as tears slowly streamed down your face. "(Y/N) (Y/M/N) (Y/L/N), will you be my wife?" Bucky's voice cracked as a single tear ran down his face. He opened up a small box and a beautiful ring appeared. You crouched down front of him and kissed him on the lips. "James Buchanan Barnes, yes I will be your wife!" You cried with the biggest smile on your face. Bucky lifted you up and spun you around, grinning like a school boy. "Oh James, it's beautiful," you exclaimed as he put the ring on your finger. "A beautiful ring for a beautiful woman," he said as he looked into your eyes, "I love you (Y/N)." "I love you too Buck,"
