"(Y/N)" called out Chiron finally, then he examined the crowed "Leo Valdez."

I groaned and stood up, as did Leo. He grinned at me and waved. I pulled a finger across my neck as a warning.

He flinched and nodded as we both walked up to Chiron.

"Demigods, when would you like to leave for your quest?" asked Chiron. "Right now!" Leo said with a grin.

I shook me head "we're packing first, and getting the supplies we need." I said. Leo rolled his eyes and started to walk off muttered "ugh, people who are legacies of Athena."

I furrowed my eyebrows together and grabbed the back of his shirt, spinning him around and placing my dagger at his neck "you know what else legacies of Athena can do?" I asked.

"Now (Y/N)," said Chiron "put him down, we don't need you know what to happen again..."

I nodded and placed him down "you're lucky, Valdez" I muttered quietly as I made my way to my cabin.

I packed the essentials. Ambrosia, clothing...Lady products, just in case(if you're not a lady, just ignore that)...Water and food.

I got sidetracked quite quickly, thinking over this quest and how it's probably going to go horrible, since I have to deal with Valdez. He is just so bad, and people wondered why I disliked him.

It could also be he is just really irritating, he doesn't possess any serious trails, it's all giggles and jokes with him.

"You ready, Miss. Smartypants" called Leo sheepishly. He really didn't know when to stop his nonsense.

I snapped my fingers and my pet owl Meghan flew onto my shoulder. This owl of mine and Leo had some bad history, that's why I am taking her, also, she is a great companion.

I rubbed her chin as Leo groaned "does she have to come?" he asked. I nodded "yep" I told him. He shook his head "let's just get going" he said cautiously, as the owl seemed to glare at him.

I nodded and started to walk out of camp borders. Leo followed behind me slowly.

"West" I muttered. "Leo, do you have a compass?" I asked. He shook his head "but I can make one" he told me. I nodded and looked at the sky "it's getting late anyway, let's set up camp."

Leo nodded and sat down, pressed against a tree. He fidgeted with metal.

I sat against tree far away from him. Leo sighed "why do you hate me anyway?" he asked suddenly. I was taken off guard by the question, but I answered anyway.

"You're so annoying...I think..." I said the last part quietly. Honestly, I didn't talk to him that much, so I don't even know why I find him annoying, I just do...It's weird.

Leo shrugged "you know, I have no real relation to Athena, but you should get to know someone before judging them."

Surprisingly, that was really well thought out for a kid like him. I sighed "you're right..." I muttered "maybe..."

Leo grinned and walked up to me. He held out his hand "one compass by the way" he said. I looked shocked "how did you make that, this fast?" I asked. Leo shrugged "once I made a makeshift helicopter in thirty seconds" he explained.

I rose a eyebrow "interesting, come sit down, tell me about it" I said moving over. I always was interested in building this anyway, maybe we'll have something in common.

But after a while, my eyes started to get heavy, I swayed a little as I rested my head on Leo, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in the morning, on the ground with someone laying next to me, their arms wrapped around my waist protectively.

I groaned and turned around to face Leo. That made me jump, well, I was surprised, I slowly moved out of his arms and stood up, brushing off leaves and dirt.

I wiped my face and shook my head. Memories from last night returning. I fell asleep on Leo, that's all I remembered. We were talking about something, but it wasn't important, my heart was pounding, and I was growing tired.

I yawned and took my bag off my back and dug through it, looking for food, I took out a peach, it was kinda mushy but I ate it anyway, well I ate half of it, the rest I conserved it in a plastic bag.

While Leo was asleep I walked a little away, behind a tree and started to change out of my clothing.

While I was halfway finished I heard someone whistle. I wiped my head around to see Leo valdez. I shrieked and then glared at him, luckily I was still in most of my clothing.

"Get the hell away Valdez" I hissed, even thought I had a bra on (if your a boy ignore the bra) I covered my upper half with my arms.

He chuckled mad shrugged, turning and walking slightly away. Great. Just the thing I didn't want to happen, just had to.

Now he was going to nonstop discuss this probably, just to annoy me.

I shook my head and placed on the rest of my clothing before walking back to where we set up camp.

There I found Leo and Meghan. I greeted Leo with a mumble before grabbing a carrot out of my bag and feeding it to Meghan "sorry, I can't give much girl, I'm trying to save food" I said as I affectionately rubbed her chin.

She shook her head as if to say no problem and then fluttered off.
