Why do I relate to this so much???

You groaned quietly as you shut your laptop with a rather loud boom.

Nothing. Not a single thought. Not a single will to write.

You felt so utterly hopeless.

"What's wrong, babe?" Asked Annabeth, not looking up from her phone and hardly moving from her spot on the bed.

"I dunno' I just can't think of anything to write. I gotta' get this story out too."

She huffed slightly and said, "I see."

"Not helping, Ann."

Her face slightly morphed with distastefulness. You knew she didn't exactly like the nickname you given her, but she seemed to quickly lose the look.

"If you're so uninspired why don't you write about yourself, babe?"

"What? I'm not a very interesting person, Ann; I can't write a story about me."

"Stop giving me that bullsh—"

"Ann" you said warningly.

"Look, stop saying that about yourself. You're rather interesting, and if you got nothing fiction, write about your experiences but put it through the character's eyes."

You looked at Annabeth from your spot next to her. Her head was now leaning on you chest and her eyes and face reflected the light from her phone.

"I dunno', Ann. You think people would actually care and like it?"

"Some will, some won't. Can't please everyone, you know?"

"I know, I just . . . I want to please everyone but I can't. I can't write a good part for the life of me."

"Maybe if you stopped over thinking about all that useless crap and actually just let yourself enjoy the writing then maybe you'd have a different opinion."

You huffed lightly but decided to take her word for it.

Surprisingly it worked. The story was short but sweet and hopefully would be good enough for the readers.

Although you feel bad about it being such a short story at least you got something done.

Maybe you'd start to head in the right direction.

Maybe you'll get inspired again.

This is so, so short. I'm so, so sorry. I've been obsessed with volleyball lately thought, for a while now actually. You'll probably end up getting some volleyball chapters, they'll be longer too. If you don't want those and rather something else feel free to tell me, possibly with a suggestion or two.
