I've been thinking about writing this story for a while.
My version of John is very different from the anime and I'm sorry if you don't like that, but I have an idea about what his backstory is going to be in this story.

There is a reason John went to Japan and there is a reason he became a priest read to find out what John's childhood was like. Was it good or bad?
Is John as innocent as everyone thinks he is?
