(After dinner)

John POV

"Thank you for dinner Char." I said.
"You are welcome master Jonathan." Charles replied happily.
"Hey Jo! Jo! John!" Sarah yelled running up to me.
"Hey princess! What is it?"
"Can we go to the park? Can we? Can we?" Sarah begged.
"Not today Sarah. It's already dark."
"Oh ok." Sarah replied frowning.
"I'm sorry princess."
"It's oki brother." Sarah said softly.
"Maybe tomorrow?"
"Ok!" Sarah exclaimed running past Rosalie on her way out of the dining room.
"Hey Ro?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"Do you know where Masako is?" I asked.
"I think she went up to take a shower. She should be out in a lil while." Ro informed me.
"Ok. Hey Ro? You up to going to the park tomorrow with me and Sarah?" I asked.
"Sure. Sounds fun." She replied.
"Alright well I'm off to bed. Goodnight sister."
"Goodnight brother."

Masako POV

20 minutes later

"Hey Ro." I said
"Hi Masako. Oh and by the way John went to bed if you're wondering where he's at. Although I doubt he's asleep yet." Ro said smirking at me.
She knew I was going to ask.
"Oh. Ok thank you."

"John?" I asked knocking on his door.
"Come in."

"Hey Masa." John mumbled smiling at me from his bed.
"Did I wake you up?" I asked
"No I just laid down. What is it?" John asked sitting up and yawning.
"Um well I just wanted to talk."
"Ok well then let's talk." John said smiling and patting the spot next to him.
"Ok. I just wanted to ask you if you're ok. Are you ok? I'm sorry I just have a bad feeling about all of this, something bad is going to happen and I'm worried." I admitted.
"I see. Well to answer your question, I am alright I've certainly been better. And I know how you're feeling because I have a bad feeling about this case as well." John said quietly.
"John?"
"Hmmm?" He asked his eyes meeting mine.
I've never noticed. He has some green in his eyes. What was I going to say? Damn it John.
You made me forget.
"Um nothing I forgot what I was going to say." I answered truthfully.

"Ok." He said quietly.
"John your grandmother is she your mother's mom or your father's?" I asked curiously.
"My father's."

I feel that presence again. I don't like this feeling.
"John?"
"Hmmm?"
He looks exhausted.
"Can I stay in here with you? I um well I don't..."
"Yes. You can." John said softly.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Come on let's go to bed Masa." John said softly.
"Alright." I said laying down on the bed beside John.
This is nice. It feels right. I have never been this comfortable around someone.
"Masako?"
"Yeah?" I asked
"Would you like to go to the park with me and my sisters tomorrow? Sarah really wanted to go, so I said I would take her and I was just wondering if you'd like to go too." John asked me.

"I would love to."
I love him. I have fallen in love with the sweetest, funniest, smartest, and most loving person on this planet. He's perfect. I used to think I would never fall in love and care for someone as much as I care for him. But now I want to be with him forever. I couldn't fathom life without him and I would do anything in my power to keep him safe and happy forever. I hope we all make it out of this case unscathed.
"Goodnight Masa. I love you." John whispered on the brink of consciousness and sleep.
"Goodnight John. I love you too." I whispered.
He's asleep. He makes me so happy. Now I know how my mom felt about my dad. I miss them. I miss my mom and dad.
"Tu me manques maman Tu me manques papa J'aurais aimé avoir rencontré John. Vous l'auriez aimé et lui, vous. Bonne nuit ma, pa. Surveillez-nous s'il vous plaît."  I prayed quietly.
(Translation: I miss you momma. I miss you papa. I wish you could have met John. You would have loved him and he you. Goodnight ma, pa. Watch over us please.)

"I would have loved to meet them Masa. I hope they would approve of me dating their lovely daughter." John whispered in my ear causing me to jump.
"You're awake?" I asked turning around to face him.
"Yes I am. I heard you talking. I'm sorry Masa."
"You have nothing to be sorry for."
"One day will you take me to visit them?" John asked quietly.
"You wouldn't mind?"
"No I would not mind. I would have loved to meet them personally, but..."
"Thank you. They would have loved you! I love you." I cried softly.
"Shhhh. It's ok Masa. It's ok." John whispered pulling me into a hug.
"I..." I started.
"It's ok. I love you too Masako. So much." John whispered in my hair while I sobbed into his chest.
"So so much. You're perfect to me. You are gorgeous inside and out. You have the prettiest colored eyes I have ever seen. They're the color of amethysts. Your smile lights up a room. And your..." John was whispering as I drifted off to a dreamless sleep.
I fell asleep in John's arms to John telling me every little detail he loved about me.
This is heaven. Nirvana. Happiness. Perfect. This is love.

* Hi so here ya go. Just gonna leave this here. This took a while to write I'm just glad I finished it before New Years.

How did Masako lose her parents? Is she an only child? Who's going to get hurt before this case is over and who's going to hurt them? Will John meet someone from his past at the park? What's Sebby's problem? Will Charles ever call John by his name and not "master Jonathan? Well I don't know yet. What do you want to happen? What do you think will happen? Keep reading to find out!
