John POV

"Let's go eat." Masako said trying to pull  me up out of the bed and failing.
"Alright I'm getting up." I said getting up and walking towards the door behind Masako.
"Masa? The dining room is this way." I said smiling as she started walking the wrong way.
"Oh. Ok well let's go." She said taking my hand in hers.

"Finally!" Sebby yelled as we walked into the dining room.
What's his problem?
"Sebby shut up." Aunt Shelly scolded.
"So John wha..."
Is he really going to be an ass?
"Bugger off Sebs!" I exclaimed cutting him off.
(Bugger off roughly translates to fuck off according to the great and powerful Google)
"Whatcha gonna do about it you bogen?" Sebby challenged.
Did he really call me unintelligent?
"Both of you shut up!" Ro exclaimed.
"Quit calling your cousin stupid Sebby. And John really? Sarah is in the room!" Aunt Shelly exclaimed as I looked down in shame.
"What does bugger off and bogen mean?" I heard Mai ask Naru curiously.
"Well Mai I think bugger off means fuck off and bogen means someone is unsophisticated and unintelligent." Naru explained quietly.
"John are you okay?" Masako whispered to me quietly.
"Yeah I'm okay I'm just not used to being back." I lied. Masako looked unconvinced but she let it go.
Sebby has never been that blunt and rude before. Somethings eating at him and I'm going to find out what it is.
"So how was the flight? You guys were on a plane for how many hours?" Charles asked breaking the uncomfortable silence that had come over the entire table.
"Our flight was good." Masako said speaking up.
"How would you know Masako?! You and John slept almost the entire time!" Ayako exclaimed.
"Exactly. I didn't wake up and got some sleep. It was a good flight." Masako stated happily.
"How long was the flight?" Charles asked curiously.
"Thirteen hours! 13!" Mai exclaimed.
"Oh my! That must have been terribly boring." Charles said sympathizing with Mai.
"It was! Because I had to sit by Naru and he kept his nose in a book the entire time!" Mai exclaimed her anger rising and then rapidly deflating.
"You done?" Naru asked her.
"Calm down Mai. You are the one who chose to sit by the window instead of in the aisle where you could talk to us." Monk said calming the young psychic down.
"He's right Mai." Ayako said siding with the monk.
"So Mr. Takigawa? I heard you're a monk?" Charles asked
"Yes I am." Monk said smiling
"If I may ask." Charles began.
"Ask away." Monk said happy to be having a conversation
"Why do you have long hair?" Charles deadpanned as Mai and Ayako burst out laughing.
"Aren't monks supposed to cut off their hair for certain religious purposes or something?" Charles continued enthusiastically causing Lin to chuckle.
"Well yeah but I was allowed to grow mine out." Monk stated.
"Oh ok." Charles said looking unsatisfied with the answer he received.
"Charles?" Someone called
Who's here?
"Ah! Mrs. Maria! We are in the dining room." Charles called out.
Nana is here? Why isn't she in France?
"Oh my I didn't know my beautiful grandchildren were home!
Jonathan! Rosalie! Oh et petite Sarah! Comment allez-vous? Comment allez-vous?" Nana asked excitedly running into the dining room like a crazy person.
(Translation: Jonathan! Rosalie! oh and little Sarah! How are you? How are you?)

"Nous sommes très bien Nana. Comment avez-vous été? Tout va bien en France?" I asked happy to see her.
(Translation: We are just fine Nana. How have you been? Everything alright in France?)

"Oh. Je suis génial! Tout va bien en France. Comment était le Japon?" Nana asked.
(Translation: Oh. I am great! Everything is just fine back in France. How was Japan?)

"C'était super. Honnêtement, je suis heureux d'être à la maison." I answered. I saw Masako frown beside me.
(Translation: It was great. Honestly though I am happy to be home.)
