Charles POV

"Charles! Where are John and Rosi?" Mr. Nite asked.
"Welcome home sir! I believe master Jonathan is in his room. Mistress Rosi went up to check on him. Who are these lovely people?" I asked curiously
Is this the team he called? The team Jonathan worked with.
"Ok. Well Charles this is Oliver Davis the head of Shibuya Psychic Research in Japan and Lin Koujo and Mai Taniyama his assistants." Mr. Nite stated
"And this is Ayako she is married to Hōshōe Takigawa he prefers to be called Monk. And this is Osamu Yasuhara he prefers to be called Yasu and this is Masako Hara." He continued smiling
"It's very lovely to meet you all. I am Charles. The butler." I said bowing slightly and they bowed back.
"So shall I show our guests where they will be staying sir?"
"Yes Charles if you don't mind." He said
"Master Samuel how many times do I hav..." I started.
"You have to tell me that this is your job." He finished
"Right this way please." I said

Masako POV

This house is beautiful but there is a spirit here who wishes harm. I don't feel safe. I hope John is alright.

"Hey Masako?" Yasu asked quietly.
"Hmmm?"
"Do you think that Charles would show us where Ro and John are at?" Yasu asked.
He's worried about Rosi.
"I don't see why he wouldn't."
"And here is your room Mr. Davis." Charles said
Me and Yasu are the only ones left.
"Um excuse me. Charles?" Yasu asked
"Yes master Yasu?" Charles asked
"Do you think that you could show us where John and Rosi are at?" Yasu replied
"Yes sir, but first you must place your things in your rooms. And then we can go find them." Charles explained
"Alright. That sounds like a fair deal. Thank you." I said happily.

"This is master Jonathan's room they may be in there." Charles stated.
"Thank you." Yasu said.
"Not a problem sir. And if they are not in there then go one door down and you'll be at mistress Rosi's room." Charles said leaving us in the hallway.
"Ok" Yasu mumbled knocking on the door.
"Come in." Rosi yelled through the door.

"Hey we were wondering if you guys were ok." Yasu explained.
"Yea we are alright." Rosi said looking at John.
"No you may be, but I'm not." John said shortly glaring at his sister.
"What's wrong?" I asked quietly.
"I saw my brother." He stated.
His brother. Joey.
"Did he say anything?" I asked curiously
"He told me he can't move on until this is over." John stated
"What does that mean?" I asked
"I honestly have no clue." John said quietly
Until this is over? I have a bad feeling about whatever this is.
"Masa are you okay?" John asked
"Yeah I'm fine. I just feel an odd presence." I explained quietly.
I think I'm going to be sick.
"You're very pale. You need to sit down." John said walking up to me.
"I'm fine. I'm just fi..."
"No you're not." John said softly while picking me up bridal style and sitting me down on the bed.
"I'm going to get Charles. He might have something that can help." Rosi said leaving the room with Yasu on her heels.
"Ok." John said sitting down beside me.
"John really. I'm fine."
"Ok if you say so. But you're sitting here until you're not so pale." John said softly.
"I'm naturally pale." I argued.
"Masako please." John begged.
"Ok." I said giving up.
"Thank you." John said sighing.
"You're pale too." I stated.
"Well I just saw a ghost. Literally." John said smiling a lil bit.
"Yeah I guess that's a good reason to look a little pale." I said giggling.
"Yea I guess it is." He said staring down at his hands in his lap.
"John?"
"Yes?" He asked.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked.
"Well a lil bit of everything." He said distantly.
"Like what?" I pressed for more of an answer.
"Well like how we are going to solve this case, ways to get Charles to quit calling me master because he's like family to me, what to do after the case is over, and you." He said smiling.
"Me?" I asked
"Yea. You." He said smiling.
"What about me?"
"Well for one you gave me a scare. I thought you were going to pass out and hit the floor. And I also was..."
I made him worry.
"I'm sorry." I said cutting him off.
"I felt an odd presence. It made me feel a little sick." I continued.
"You don't have to apologize. It's not your fault Masa." He said
"John I'm tired." I said feeling a sudden wave of exhaustion wash over me.
"Well take a nap. It's been a long day."
"John? Will you stay with me?" I asked shyly.
"Yes I will." John said smiling.
"Thank you." I whispered.
"You're welcome Masa." John said kissing my cheek softly causing me to smile.

Charles POV

"Master Jonathan is everything alright?" I asked coming in the room.
"Everything is good Char." John said smiling at the girl asleep in his arms.
"Alright well have a nice nap sir." I said smiling at the adorableness in front of me.

No POV

•••2 hours later•••

"John! Masako! Wake up its dinner time!" Rosi yelled charging into the room.
"No." Masako mumbled turning over and snuggling closer to John.
"Alright well I guess I'll just have to eat your helping of Charles's famous chicken tortellini with extra sauce." Rosi said turning around to walk out the door.
"Wait. Wait we are up. We're up." John mumbled sitting up slowly.
"Do we have to get up?" Masako asked quietly.
"Yep you can't miss Charles's chicken tortellini!" John exclaimed smiling.
"Alright let's go." Masako whispered looking up at John.
"John!" Masako exclaimed.
"What?"
"Your hair!" Masako exclaimed laughing.
"Oh hush it's not that bad! Is it?" John asked unsure of his hairs status.
"Yes it is that bad!"
"Ugh! Great." John groaned struggling to get his hair to lay flat.
"Here let me fix it." Masako said fixing his hair for him.
"Thank you." John mumbled.
"Let's go eat." Masako said grabbing John's hand and pulling him up off the bed and failing miserably.
