I sit down at a small seat next to Erin's mother. She's really nice, and rambles about how much Erin missed me and I give her a big hug.

Erin had to go to backstage, and not before long I was being mobbed by a bunch of freshman girls. "I love you so much Calum!" They were respectful, and I took pictures with them and signed some shirts and an ankle.

"I'm getting this tattooed!" She said excitedly.

I nod and sit down, and the girls find their way back to their seats. The ceremony doesn't start until 5:00, and its 4:24. I load my phone and log into the band snapchat.

I take a selfie with one of the filters and then eventually get bored.

you: u know ur school is boring

erin: i know that's why i graduated

you: hellhole

erin: u think

you: when does the graduation start

erin: in 6 years

you: oh guess we better just get married and have 7 kids

erin: i was being sarcastic

you: as was i

erin: i have to go

erin: i love you

you: i love you too

I tapped my feet as I waited for the ceremony to start. I stared up at the curtains that draped from the ceiling, purple with gold tassels. I stood next to my friend Diana, who was extremely excited about graduating.

"I can't believe it, Erin. We're graduating. This is it." I smiled and nodded, and then I heard the guy calling out names. I felt relieved, until he got to the 'R' and called out my name.

"Erin Rodriguez."

I shuffled my way over to the stage and accepted my diploma. Calum and my mom were extremely excited. I blushed in embarrassment.

Soon enough, every name had been called and I looked at my class. I grew up with these kids, and now we were all going to branch off and do different things. My friends.

When the ceremony was over, we all went into the street and threw our caps in the air, all laughing and cheering. I wanted to cry because I was going to miss my friends, but I didn't because my makeup would have been ruined.

After we were all finished saying goodbye, I walked up some steps and saw Calum. I ran up to him and he caught me mid-air, and I kissed him. "Congrats, kid." He whispered. I smiled and held him tight.

I didn't want to let go.
