"You must collect five hundred pieces of candy before the last jack-o-mellon is blown out. Failing to do so will result in-" The trickster is cut off by a little boy in a pirate costume skipping up to the door. The creature reaches down, picks up the boy, and tosses him into his mouth. "-the same fate as this young fellow!" and with that, the halloween trickster jumps up and out of sight, leaving you all with horrified expressions.
"Five hundred pieces? Is he serious?" you ask.
"At least now Dipper has to come with us." Mabel says half heartedly.
"Fine. But we have to do this fast, and i'm not changing into a costume." Dipper crosses his arms.
"Alright. We can do this!" Mabel exclaims, clapping her hands together.
"I can help you guys out." Soos suggests.
"Yeah! With Candy's cuteness, Grenda's strength, Dipper's brains, y/n's creativity, and...Soos, uh, here, there's nothing stopping us from getting five hundred pieces and still having time for more!" Mabel thrusts her fist into the air. "Are you with me?!"
"Yeah!" everybody yells, running out into the street.
"Soos, if you could grab the wheel barrow, that would be great." Dipper suggests.
"I'm on it." Soos states.
"Let's hit Lazy Suzan's house first." Mabel says, pointing in the correct direction.
You all run up to the house as Candy rings the doorbell.
"Trick or treat!" you exclaim when Lazy Susan, who is dressed as a ball of yarn, opens the door.
"Is everyone in costume?" She asks, looking you all up and down.
Dipper reluctantly holds up his hand. "I'm not, actually."
Lazy Suzan frowns, and picks out a single piece of candy for each of you. She then slams the door shut.
"Five pieces total? That's it?" Grenda asks, looking into her bag.
"This is looser candy." Candy says, glaring at the closed door and holding up a gummy chair.
"Okay, people, we're going to have to up our game!" Mabel exclaims, eyeing Dipper. "And that means that you have to change into costume." she says, putting her hands on her hips.
"Fine." Dipper sighs, trudging back to the shack.

Once Dipper got his costume on, things went pretty fast. You got about thirty pieces of candy per house, some adults just dumping their entire bowls into your bags once they saw the twins.
Soos walks down the middle of the street with the wheelbarrow, that way you can empty your bags when they get too heavy to run with.
"-four hundred ninety-eight, four hundred ninety-nine. We only need one more piece!" Mabel enthuses.
"I'm gonna go pull up the truck." Soos tells you, jogging off.
"Last one to the house is a pair of wax lips!"
Grenda exclaims, running around the corner.
"No fair, you got a head start!" you laugh, taking off down the street.
Grenda is already ringing the door bell, so you decide to hang back. There's no point in everyone going if you only need one piece of candy.
You start walking back towards Dipper, but pause when you hear voices. One of them is Dipper's, one is more of a girl's voice, and the third is one of a boy.
Mabel, Candy and Grenda come back from the house, but you shush them until they stop to listen.
"You're coming to the party, right?" the girl asks.
"Wendy, I wouldn't miss it for the world." Dipper says.
Wendy. Of course.
"That traitor." Mabel whispers.
"So, what are you doing out here? You're not trick or treating, are you?" the male voice questions.
"Shut up, Robbie. Of course he's not. I'll see you later at the party. It's at nine, don't forget! Bye."
Wendy's voice fades, and you realize that they must be driving away.
"Give me the last piece of candy." you tell Mabel, and she hands it to you without hesitation.
The four of you walk around the corner, and when Dipper looks up, you throw the piece of candy at him. It hits him squarely in the chest, then falls to the ground.
"Wha-" he starts, but neither of you want to hear it.
"You never wanted to come trick or treating with us, did you?" Mabel asks angrily.
"You'd rather hang out with Wendy at some stupid party, than with us, your real friends." you snap.
Mabel looks around. "And where's the candy?!"
Dipper holds up his hands. "Relax, it's right here, behind this bush." he walks over to a row of shrubs, and pulls one of them back to reveal a seven foot drop off with a river flowing at the bottom.
The wheelbarrow is at the bottom, resting on it's side. All of the candy is already gone, taken by the current.
"Oops." Dipper says nervously.
"I hope your happy." you say, quiet enough that only Dipper can hear. "I hope it was worth it, ruining this for your friends just so some teenagers will think you're cool." You take his hat off of your head and throw it to the ground at his feet."I dressed up as you because I thought you were cool, but now i'm having second thoughts." He looks down at the hat, then back up at your hardened face.
"Time's up, children." You spin around to see the trickster walking towards you. You look around and realize that it's completely dark, not a single jack-o-mellon in sight.
"We had all five hundred! I swear! It might still be down there!" Mabel exclaims, pointing at the river.
"Too bad." the trickster growls, suddenly growing talker and sprouting another pair of arms. He reaches down and picks everyone up, one child per hand.
"Ah!" you yelp.
He's just bringing the hand with you in it towards his mouth, when suddenly Soos's truck swerves around the corner and rams into the trickster, making him explode and drop all of you.
"Woa." Soos says, jumping out of the car. "That wasn't, like, a normal pedestrian, was it?" he asks nervously.
"Soos! That was the monster! You saved us!"
Dipper yells, standing up and running over to the truck. The rest of you peel yourselves from the ground and hobble over to the vehicle. Candy and Grenda hop in the front while you sit in the back with Dipper and Mabel.
"Hey, are you alright? You're bleeding." Dipper points to your scraped knees and a cut running along Mabel's arm.
Neither of you answer him, Mabel instead looking out the window and you looking down at your hands. Dipper exhales and slumps down in his seat.
Suddenly, Mabel speaks up. "Uh, guys?" she says urgently, pointing out the window.
You crane your head around to look through the back windshield. What you see is not very comforting. The trickster has somehow reassembled himself, and is now chasing Soos' car.
"Soos! Step on it!" Dipper says frantically.
Soos does, but then looses control of the car, causing it to swerve off the road, through an empty parking lot, and crash into the front of the Summerween store. Thank goodness it was closed.
You each jump out of the car and run farther into the store, but Soos is too slow.
"Soos! No!" you shriek as the trickster plucks Soos from the ground, and tosses him into his mouth.
You grab a piece of candy from the discount bin and throw it at the trickster, but the sweet just gets absorbed into his skin.
"What the heck?" you mutter, backing into a display.
"You really haven't figured it out yet?" the trickster laughs, taking off his mask. "Look closely."
You peer into the face of this creature, surprised when all you see is-
"Loser candy." Mabel gasps, finishing your thought.
"That's right." the trickster takes a step closer. "I am made of all of the candy that picky children like you never want to eat." he grins evilly. "So now i'm going to eat you." he takes another step closer, but suddenly his expression turns to one of great pain. "Ahhhhhhh!" he screeches, and suddenly Soos's head rips through his stomach, tearing the trickster apart from the inside.
"Soos!" you exclaim as the Summerween Trickster crumples.
Soos nods at you, stuffing the loser candy into his mouth. "You dudes want some?"

Back at the shack, you, Dipper, and Mabel are eating from bags of candy that Stan supplied, when Wendy walks in.
"Hey, Dipper. I didn't see you at the party, where were you?" she asks, sitting down to carve a jack-o-mellon.
You stand up and start walking into the kitchen. You don't want to hear Dipper's made up excuse, but stop walking when you hear his answer.
"I was trick or treating." he says. "With my friends."
You turn around to see him smiling apologetically. You smile back.
You walk back into the living room, where you guys stay up for the rest of the night, eating all of your candy and watching scary movie marathons.
