"Are you ready?" Vic questioned me, a big smile on his face as he straightened my shirt. I snorted. He was just like my mother.

"Yes, Mom."

He hit me on the back of the head and I made a noise of protest. “Shut up, smartass. It’s your first day of senior year, get excited!”

"I don’t see what’s so exciting about it," I grumbled. He gave me a look and I smirked.

"Sort your hair out while I make sure Mike is dressed."

I nodded and he was of to Mike’s room. It was silent as I sorted my hair and I smiled to myself in the mirror.

"Vic, stop acting like Mom!"

I chuckled, knowing that Vic was picking at him how he picked at me.

"I do what I want, Mike!"

I walked into the room to see Mike shirtless, the two brothers bickering about what shirt Mike should wear. I decided to back Mike up on the shirt he wanted to wear.

Vic narrowed his eyes at us. “Tag teamers,” he muttered as he walked out. I laughed, turning to Mike.

"You’re welcome."

He grinned back, nodding at me. We were friends again, as he had forgiven me. I was glad he did.

"Come on guys! It’s time to go!"

I hurried to the living room where Vic was waiting. “I’m taking you to school and then heading to college,” he beamed. He was so proud of himself for being accepted. hell, so was I.

I wrapped my arms around his hips and tugged his body to mine. He let out the cutest laugh and wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"Yes?" he breathed, tilting his head up.

"I get to say I have a hot college boyfriend, and no one else gets to say that." I murmured, kissing his cheek. He smiled, running his fingers though my hair.

"Well this college boyfriend is going to be late if his senior brother doesn’t hurry his ass up."

"I’m here, I’m ready," Mike said, running past us and out the door. Vic chuckled and grabbed his keys. Or my keys, since I’m letting him borrow my car until he gets one.

"Are you sure you know how to drive?" I teased, following him out.

.”Shut up or I’ll crash your car,” he threatened playfully.

"Like you would ever do that," I answered as we climbed into the car. "You love me too much."

"That’s true," he grumbled as he pulled out. "Talk to Mike or something, I need to think."

I frowned, but listened. I started up a conversation with Mike, wondering what it was that Vic had to think about.

"We’re here," Vic said, smiling. Mike thanked him for the ride, not noticing that anything was wrong. I, however, noticed that his eyes were shinier than usual.

"Are you okay?" I asked, standing outside but ducking into the car. Vic fake-smiled and nodded.

"I’m fine," he answered. I noticed his lip quiver, and I knew he would break down in a minute.

"What’s wrong?" I questioned, sliding back into the car and shutting the door.

He broke down crying, covering his face. “Just-what if-what if I’m too stupid to keep up? I had a hard enough time in high school, I’m too stupid t go to college,” he rambled on, his anxiety getting the best of him.

I shushed him and wrapped my arms around his waist awkwardly, considering the position we were in. He leaned into me, shaking.

"Hey," I said softly, kissing his forehead. "You’ll be fine. Obviously you’re up to their standards if you got accepted. Am I right?"

"I guess so," he answered doubtfully.

"Exactly. Now, you’ll do great. I love you. "

"I love you too," he smiled. "Now get to class."

I smiled back and listened, climbing out of the car. I waved at him until he was gone, sighing as I turned towards the school.

Senior year, here I come.
