NIALL

Nobody was beside me. Maybe she was downstairs making breakfast. I dragged my sloppy body out of bed and checked on Aubrey. She was sleeping like an angel. I closed her door and went downstairs. Autumn wasn't down there. I saw a paper on the counter and picked it up and read it word for word.

What?

Cancer?

How?

She was so perfect.

Why was this God's plan for her?

I wiped my hand over my mouth and looked back up at the stairs to see if Aubrey was up yet. I ran up the stairs and into my room unplugging my phone, calling Louis, and getting dressed at the same time. I was pulling on my pants when he answered.

"Why so early?" Were his first words.

"No time to talk about I need you to come to my aunt and uncle's house now. I'll text you the address. Don't ask why. And tell Aubrey I'll be back soon and that you're babysitting." I said as I pulled on my shirt.

"Wait Ni-"

"Bye." I cut him off and hung up. I ran down the stairs and jumped into my car.

"Siri, call Autumn." I said to my phone. "

Calling Autumn... Mobile." It began to ring and ring and ring. On the last ring I heard it pick up.

"Hello?" I was so relieved to hear her voice.

"Autumn tell me where you are now." I demanded.

"Niall you don't want me anymore. I'm sick and worthless." She was crying but her voice wasn't showing it. I just knew.

"Autumn, you're not worthless, if you only have 7 months, then you'll have the best 7 months of your life with me by your side every second." I meant it.

"I saw the news Niall. You're leaving. You're leaving for your tour and I'll never see you again. You'll forget I ever was alive and you don't have to worry about me being there when you get back. I'll be gone and your life will be easier."

"Take every word back because you know that's not true. You're coming with me. I don't care about it. I love you back. And Aubrey's parents will be back again. And-"

"Wait." She quietly spoke.

"Yeah?" I asked.

AUTUMN

He said it. He finally said it. That was the straw for me to tell him where I am.

"Niall, say that again." He knew what I was talking about.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you." I said back. Tears were gently falling. That was all I needed. I wasn't going to die without hearing that.

"I'm at the Marriott Hotel downtown." And I hung up.

I stood up from the bed and tapped on the back of my phone as I exhaled deeply and paced back and forth. He felt the same way.

I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed a room key and went out into the hall closing the door behind me. I walked down the hallway processing his words. I needed a coffee. It's early. About 9:15 in the morning. After the elevator opened for me, I went in and pressed the 1. The ride was hard down to the main floor. It was full of right spaces and my thoughts were crammed. It was longest elevator ride of my life. The door opened and I turned right around towards the café. I sat down and a lady came up to me.

"What can I get for you?"

"Coffee and a chocolate chip muffin please." She walked away pettily.

I laid back closing my eyes for a brief moment. Enjoying what I have right now. My hair, my health. Not for long. She came back over with my coffee and muffin. I took a piece off the top and ate the sweet flavor. I opened my eyes and turned my head out to face the lobby.

And there he was.

"Oh my god." I got up and ran over to the other side of the first floor.

"NIALL!" I jumped right into his arms. He caught me as I wrapped my legs around his waist tightly and his arms held my body up.

He connected his lips with mine and it was the first real kiss we had. It was long, it was passionate, it was full of meaning.

It. Was.

Perfect.

I literally couldn't ask for anything better.

All I wanted to do was kiss him for the next 7 months. He then released me onto the ground disconnecting our lips. Smiles grew on both of our faces. Wow. I feel like I am floating.

Our fingers intertwined as we walked back to my table. He sat in the side of the booth opposite of me.

"I missed you." He said and took one of my hands on top of the table.

"Sir, can I get you anything." The waitress said.

"Coffee?" Niall said and the lady nodded walking away.

"I missed you too." He turned back to meet my eyes.

"Why'd you run away." His eyes were full of love, lust, and hurt.

"I didn't know how you would take it." I paused.

"I didn't know how you react to my feelings towards you." I whispered.

"I love you too." He whispered back. I met his eyes again.

No lies.

Just.

Truth.

Which I knew at that moment.

"Yes." I said.

"Yes what?" He asked.

"I'll go on tour with you." His face lit up.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yes." The waitress came back with his coffee then left again.

"Oh my god. Thank you." He got up and hugged me adding a small kiss at the end.

Sneaky boy.

"When does it start?" I asked.

"2 weeks." He answered after the sip he took from his coffee.

"That's prefect amount of time because your aunt and uncle get home in 6 days and I have my next doctors appointment in 4 days for more tests." My face hung low but I tired not to advertise my sadness.

"Will you please come home with me?" He pleaded.

"Yeah, I will." He took my hand again.

"Thank you." It was a meaningful thank you. I gave him a questioning look. "For making me feel like the reason to wake up in the morning, is to see you."

thanks for reading. Things are looking brighter. I literally had sweater weather stuck in my head this whole entire chapter. Okay, song of the day: Changing of the seasons by Two door cinema club. Yeah they have a long band name. Anyways, things will get better, then worse, OR WILL THEY!! Dun dun dun. Okay so the 10th of October was my birthday and on the 6th of October I finally got my iPhone 5. And I may or may not have cried. Don't judge me. Thanks for reading! Love you all!
