VII

I slipped on a pair of fluffy socks as I sat in bed, Jack was fast asleep next to me. I stood up and walked into the en suite, my hair was falling out of the messy bun it had been in. I grabbed my toothbrush and began brushing my teeth, I finished with my teeth and made my way to the kitchen to make breakfast. I made pancakes for Jack and I, I poured some orange juice into glasses and set the table. I made some bacon for Jack and I cut up some strawberries for myself, I heard footsteps and looked down the hall to see Jack entering the kitchen.

"Morning" I greet, Jack slips his hands around my waist in a hug.
"Good morning" he replied, he took a seat at the table where I had left his breakfast.
I was still worried about Joe, but I know it would be better if we gave each other space. Jack looks at me with a curious expression, I send him a small smile in return, but he doesn't seem to buy it.
"What's up?" Jack questioned, I didn't know what to say, he'd probably call me silly for getting upset about Joe snapping at me.
"Nothing it's just I'm a still a little worried about Joe" I admitted, he nodded his head knowingly.
"You should go talk to him" Jack pointed out, I nod and finish my breakfast.

Jack's phone buzzes, I look at him, he sighs and stands up.
"Conor texted me, he said he needs my help urgently" Jack revealed.
"Well go on then, don't keep him waiting, it's probably important" I told him, he kissed me on the cheek and left. I decided I would go for a run, I usually do this everyday, but I've been slacking for a while.
I pulled on my black Nike roshes, my black Nike leggings and my black Nike sports bra. I grabbed my protein bottle and I put my headphones in my ears ready to go, I exited the apartment after locking it.
I began jogging down the street at a slow pace, I entered the park at the end of the street.
This park was large with fences running along the sides of the pathway, there were benches placed everywhere for people to relax. I smiled at people I passed, I was listening to Conor's covers they were really good. After running through the whole park, I slowed down to a walking pace. I decided to go back through the park once again, but this time I sat on one of the benches.

My messy bun was falling out so I fixed by tying it up again, I started humming along to Conor's cover, he had such a good voice, but Jack was my boyfriend. I felt something tap my back, I turned to find Joe, he had a small smile.
"Hey" I greeted, he replied with a simple hi and I decided it was time to figure this all out.
"Jessie, I don't want to fight anymore-" Joe began.
"I don't want to either" I cut him off.
"Will you tell me what's up then?" I asked, Joe sighed and nodded his head.
"I was worried about you and Jack" he started, I looked at him confusion.
"Me and Jack? Why?" I puzzled.
"I just don't want you to get hurt, I don't want him to hurt you" Joe revealed, I looked at him with a bright smile, he cared about me.
"It's okay Joe, Jack won't hurt me" I reassure him, he smiles and I give him a hug.
"Are we okay again?" Joe asked.
"We're okay" I clarified.

Joe walked me back to my apartment, I missed spending time with him. We came to a halt at my door, I smiled at Joe and gave him a hug.
"I'm thinking about heading to Brighton tomorrow to visit Alfie and Zoe, you in?" Joe asked, I think it would be fun to visit Alfie and Zoe.
"Sure, text me later yeah?" I said.
"Yeah see you later Jessie" Joe said, he walked off down the street.
For some reason I feel like when I met him in the park he was coming to see me anyway, when I went into the apartment Ella was with Tyler.
"Hey guys" I said, they were watching a movie on the couch.
"Hey Jess, were you out running?" Ella asked, I nodded in reply.

I felt really sweaty so I went into my room and took a shower, I let the water wash out the shampoo and conditioner in my hair, I washed my body with raspberry body wash. I put on some shorts and a jumper, I think it might be Jack's, but who cares.

My birthday was coming up soon, I couldn't wait. I was thinking of maybe just a night out with Ella and all the guys. I checked my phone and scrolled through my Instagram, it's been a while since I posted so I just took a selfie and posted it. 
My phone buzzed as someone was calling me, I checked my screen to see Conor's name flickering on the screen.
"Hello" I answered.
"Hey Jessica, I was wondering if you could do me a favour?" Conor spoke, I was curious as to what his favour was.
"Sure I guess, what is it?" I asked.
"Well I was wondering if you'd be able to do a cover with me, Joe told me you used to do singing lessons" Conor explained.
"Sure I'll come by in about half an hour" I said, Conor sad that'd be great and I hung up.

I grabbed a pair of jeans and slipped on my white converse, I told Ella I'd be back later and I said bye to Tyler. I left for Conor's apartment, I listened to Drake on the way as I drove through the busy streets of London.
I arrived at Conor's a few minutes later, I knocked on the door, it was soon answered by Josh. I gave him a quick hug and entered the apartment, Mikey was also here, I gave him and Conor a hug.
I followed Conor into his recording studio, it was so cool. He had a piano, guitar and all of this really high tech equipment, I sat down in a chair opposite him, there were to microphones above our heads.
"What song are we singing?" I questioned, I rested my hands on my legs.
"Send my love by Adele" Conor confirmed, I loved this song.
After going over lyrics and who would sing what parts we performed the cover, I think it sounded really good personally. Conor edited the video while I watched, I hadn't sang in a long time now, I hope Conor's viewers like it.

I went home an hour later, I received a text from Joe saying that he's leaving at ten tomorrow to go to Brighton, he said he'd pick me up and he told me that Caspar wants to tag along. I got a cup of tea and went to bed, I drifted off to sleep not too long after that.
