VIII

I woke up to the beeping of my alarm, it was half eight. I stood up and stretched my body, I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower.
After my shower, I decided on picking out an outfit. I loved Zoe's style, so I decided to wear something Zoe would, I grabbed a red sleeved crop top and a short light grey skirt. I slipped my Adidas all stars, I tied my hair in a half up half down bun.

I put on some light make up and grabbed my phone and charger, I packed a bag with a few clothes incase we ended up staying for a few days. I put on my sunglasses, Ella was still asleep. I left a note on the counter, I decided to drive to Joe and Caspar's rather than them having to come for me. I got a text from Jack saying he heard about me going to Brighton, he said he'd meet me at Joe's.

A few minutes later I arrived at Joe's. I locked my car and pressed the buzzer at the door, there was a click and the door opened. I entered the apartment to find the three boys chilling out on the couch, Jack eyes lit up once he saw me.
"Hey" I greeted, Jack gave me a tight hug.
"Can't breath" I broke out, Joe and Caspar laughed.

Jack apologised and released me quickly, I gave Joe and Caspar a quick hug before we decided to leave. The boys loaded their bags into the car, while I said goodbye to Jack, Jack kissed me before I got into the driver's seat. I waved at Jack one last time before pulling out onto the road, Caspar started playing some music and we all sang our hearts out.

We had stopped to grab some food on the way, there was this really cool restaurant or diner. It was called Marilyn's Muse, it was styled like an American diner. We sat in a booth and ordered our food, I decided to get a milkshake too.

"So does Zoe and Alfie know we're coming?" I asked, Joe swallowed his food and looked up at me.
"Zoe doesn't, but Alfie does, you can't tell Zoe this, but Alfie is planning on proposing" Joe revealed, I was ecstatic, Alfie and Zoe were like my number one ship.
"Oh my god yay! Zoe is going to be thrilled" I cheered, my hands swatting in a crazy motion to which I received a few looks from other customers.

We were back on the road, Joe and Caspar had swapped seats and Caspar was now seated beside me in the passenger seat. Joe began vlogging and telling his viewers we were off to visit Alfie and Zoe, once Joe was finished, Caspar and him sent each other a knowing look.

"What is it? You guys are looking at each other really weirdly" I pointed out, I glanced at Caspar and he nodded his head in Joe's direction.
"You know the way Caspar and I did Joe and Caspar hit the road?" Joe questioned, I nodded my head for him to go on.
"Well we're doing Joe and Caspar hit the road USA" Joe told me, this was a lot of news.

The last time Joe and Caspar did their movie I missed Joe like crazy, of course I missed Caspar too, but Joe is my twin brother. I'm really happy for them, I just want them to return home safely.

"That's great guys, I'm so happy for you, when do you start filming?" I queried, I wanted to know how much time I had with them before they went away.
"We'll be gone for about three months, but keep it to yourself because we wanted to tell you first" Caspar answered, they really did have hearts of gold.

About an hour later, we pulled up outside of Zoe's apartment. Alfie opened the door revealing Nala, I picked up the cutest dog ever and held Nala close. Alfie welcomed us in, he told us Zoe was upstairs and that she knew nothing about us being here. We all took a seat in the living while we waited for Zoe to come downstairs, I had missed Zoe.
Soon I saw the familiar blonde hair came  into view and I shot up and gave her a hug, Zoe chuckled and hugged me back.

"Hey guys, I had no idea you were coming" Zoe spoke, I smiled.
"We thought we'd surprise you" I replied.

Caspar and Joe went to play some video game with Alfie while Zoe and I got a cup of tea in the kitchen. Zoe looked at me accusingly, I had a look of confusion on my face.

"That's a really nice skirt" Zoe complimented, I laughed.
"That's what the accusing look was for?" I questioned, Zoe shook her head and I waited for her to speak.
"When were you going to tell me about you and Jack?" She asked, a smirk formed on her lips.

I don't think I could've went any redder, I felt as if there were flames burning my cheeks. Overreacting I know, but I was nervous and thrown by this because I had completely forgotten to tell Zoe.

"I wanted to tell you in person" I lied, but I don't think Zoe could tell.
Zoe nodded, her expression still curious.
"So how did this come about?" Zoe questioned, I thought for a minute before responding.
"Well I met him at Joe's and then I went for lunch with Joe and the guys and he happened to be there and then he asked me out, I said and he took me on a date and asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes" I ranted, somehow Zoe caught all of that.
"I'm too easy aren't I, I shouldn't have said yes after the first date" I said out loud, Zoe came over and grabbed my hands.
"You like him don't you?" She asked.
"Yes" I replied.
"Well then it's okay" Zoe reassured, she patted my shoulder before walking into the sitting room.

I was left to my own thoughts in the kitchen, there was so many things going on. Zoe and Alfie's engagement, Joe and Caspar heading to the U.S. and there was still Jack and I taking it slow and steady.

Hey guys, sorry this isn't very entertaining chapter :(
It's a bit of a filler chapter because I didn't want to skip the Brighton trip, just to warn you guys I will be skipping forward in time soon!
