52. epilogue

"I have to go help her, you stay with Joe." Jack urged as he stood from his seat.

"No Jack I'm coming with you." I said as my voice cracked.

"What's going on?" Joe questioned, he looked at us with worried glances.

"Alex is here and he took Lydia, we have to help her." I told Joe.

"We need to leave now." Jack said, he grabbed my hand as I ran with him out to the car park.

"I'll explain things!" Joe called behind us.

Jack and I rushed to his car, Alex's red Audi had pulled out onto the road ahead of us. Jack quickly pulled out and began to follow Alex's car, Alex was driving at a high speed dipping in and out of cars. I could feel Jack speed up and I felt the worry creep into my stomach.

"Jack, calm down. We'll get her." I tried reasoning with him, but he only increased his speed.

"I can't, we can't lose her." Jack shot back and I gripped the seat tightly, the seatbelt gripped tightly over my chest.

The streets were busy but that didn't stop Jack from chasing Alex through red lights, I had warned him not to be so reckless but he refused to listen to me. I could feel my chest constricting with pain and my breathing started to become heavy. The familiar feeling of panic was surging through me and as I glanced over Jack he seemed as concentrated as ever, he bit down on his lip as his hands gripped the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles became white.

My eyes widened as Alex had ran through another red light. On my side of the car I saw a truck coming at high speed towards us. There was a screeching of metal before I felt an excruciating pain flow all over my body, the crashing of glass made me cry out as I clenched my eyes tightly. My head felt like it would explode as I felt a trickling sensation from my forehead to my cheek.

"Jessica!" Jack shouted, but I couldn't reply as darkness took over me.

It was all white, I spun around in a circle. I was surrounded by white, I glanced down at my body to see I wore a white dress.

"Where am I?" I questioned and my voice only echoed throughout room.

I looked around confusedly, where was Jack? Where was Joe? Where was I?

"Don't worry you're not dead." A voice spoke.

I whipped around to see a woman in a bridesmaids dress the exact same as the one I had been wearing. In fact, it was me who I was staring at. My mouth hung open in shock, I was unable to comprehend what was going on.

"Wh- who are y-you?" I stuttered out as I took a step back.

"I'm you Jessica," the figure in front of me only replied back.

"Where am I? This doesn't make sense..." I trailed off.

There was a light humming coming from above me and I tried my best to make out what it was.
