XXXI

Joe and I got off the train and exited the station, we had just gotten back from Zoe's after visiting our village. Ella was there to pick us up with Caspar, they were holding hands. Jack got back tomorrow, but I wouldn't see him until the day after.

"Ella!" I squealed as I ran towards her, I hugged and she told me what Caspar and her had been up to.

"Hey Caspar" I greeted, I gave him a hug and we made our way to Ella's car.

Joe and I sat in the back while Caspar sat in the passenger seat, Ella began the drive to our apartment where Joe would be staying for the night. I was so tired and I had no idea why, I guess it was from the train. I sighed in relief as we entered the apartment, I felt like I haven't been here in ages because I'm mainly at Jack's. I dropped my bags in my room and changed into some yoga pants and one of Jack's t-shirts.

"It feels good to be home" I said as I flopped down on the couch, Joe had dumped his bags in the hallway but I was too tired to even bother to give out to him.

"Do you guys even eat pineapple or is this just another joke about my head?" Caspar questioned as he was getting a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Yeah I eat pineapple" I reassured Caspar, I turned to Joe and shook my head that I actually don't.

We were hungry so we decided to order dominos, Caspar was obsessed with pizza.

"I love pizza" Caspar stated.

"We know" Ella, Joe and I chorused.

Joe filmed a video in my room while I showered, I could hear rustling around. Joe better not be messing with my stuff, I wrapped a towel around my body and stepped out of the shower. I walked into my room to see Joe wearing a tutu and I have no idea where he got it, he had a princess crown on his head.

"I'm just going to leave to do what you were doing.." I trailed off, Joe burst out laughing.

I grabbed my pyjamas and laid on the couch, I caught up on some walking dead while Joe finished. I started getting drowsy and I fell asleep as I heard my bedroom door open.

The next morning when I woke there was a blanket draped over me, I checked my phone and saw text from Joe saying he went home. I made myself some coffee and had a bowl of fruit with yoghurt. Then I went on my usual run through the park, there weren't as many people. Some were walking dogs and a man was sitting on a bench reading the newspaper.

I listened to 'We don't talk anymore' by Charlie Puth, it was my favourite song at the moment. My phone buzzed and I stopped.

"Hello" I answered.

"It's me Ella, meet me at the London eye in an hour" Ella said, I was confused.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Just meet me there" Ella shouted before hanging up.

Once I got home, I had a quick shower and I put on some jeans, a denim jacket and a t-shirt.
