XVIII

We had finished our last meet and greets yesterday, they went smoothly for the most part anyway. I was lying in bed waiting for Jack to wake up, I smiled as I saw his eye crack open.

"Morning" Jack croaked, I laughed at his voice.

"Morning, well now since we have some time off, what will we do today?" I questioned, Jack tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

"How about we hit the beach?" Jack suggested, I agreed and left to go downstairs to tell everyone else.

Jack followed behind me, we entered the living room to see everyone hanging around in their pyjamas. They were watching SpongeBob, which was really odd.

"Yay SpongeBob!" Jack cheered as he made his way to sit down pulling me along with him.

"You're such a child" I told him as I slapped his shoulder, I messed up his hair and he rushed to fix it.

"Anyhow, why don't we all head to the beach?" Jack said, everyone nodded in agreement.

"I'm getting food first" I stated heading to the fridge to pull out some strawberries.

The others had gone upstairs to pack their stuff, Ella and I decided to wear matching bikinis. Caspar came down the stairs wearing pineapple patterned shorts.

"Pineapple!" I shouted as I pointed at his shorts furiously.

"Shut up" Caspar shot back, we ended up waking to the beach because it was only down the road.

The boys headed straight for the water as soon as their feet came in contact with the sand, Ella and I spread our towels across the sand and sunbathed. I saw Joe trying to drown Jack as he casually waved at me, I sent him the peace sign while I went back to reading my book.

"Jess.." Ella trailed off, her tone was serious which was a little alarming.

"Everything okay Ella?" I asked, I was concerned for her at this moment.

"WellthethingisithinkilikeCasparbutidontknowifhelikesmeback" she said all in one breath.

I looked at her completely confused, she sighed and opened her mouth to say something, but I cut her off.

"Say it again, but slower" I told her, she nodded.

"I think I like Caspar, but I don't know if he likes me back" Ella revealed, I smiled.

This was great news because I knew for a fact that Caspar liked her, but I wanted to them figure it out for themselves.

"Well you should tell him when you're ready of course" I advised her, she was about to speak, but the boys came over.

Jack pulled me up and Caspar pulled Ella up, they threw us over their shoulders and Ella and I yelped in protest. They started running towards the water, I slapped Jack's back to get him to stop moving.
