"You know you have to forgive Lydia," I told Jack, but he only nodded in response.

"Jack! Come on, I'm serious. She helped me and she told me that what she did was wrong and that she regrets it. She also told me that she misses her friend." I said as I lightly slapped his back.

"I know and I will, I just need time." Jack responded.

I was checking my YouTube channel to see the reaction my last vlog had gotten. I hadn't told Jack or anyone for that matter that I had made a vlog all about preparing for my speech, I left out the parts about Alex because I wasn't comfortable with letting my viewers know.

Jack walked back into the room with his phone in his hand, his eyes met mine and he released a sigh.

"You're amazing, you know that right? You didn't have to make a video of everything for your viewers, I know how difficult is was for you to do it in front of everyone like you did...." Jack trailed.

"I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. I wanted my viewers to know that I'm not perfect and I make mistakes, but I make up for them and work hard." I told him and he hugged me with a smile.

The boys had texted him to go out and play football and of course I urged him to go, he got dressed quickly and grabbed his black Nike backpack. Before he headed out the door I called him back, he turned to me with a small smile.
I rested my hands on his chest before kissing him lightly.

"Have fun with the boys and stay safe." I said as he nodded before disappearing out the door.

My phone buzzed with a text message.

Up for lunch with me and Lexa? xx

Sure thing, I'll meet you guys at the café xx

I quickly headed back into my bedroom to decide what to wear, Ella had stayed with Caspar last night so Jack kept me company. I opened the door of my walk in wardrobe and groaned at all the messy clothes, it was going to be hard to find something with the tiny mountain like piles that had formed in my closet.

After tackling the mess that was my closet, I found a woolly sweater that I had forgotten about and I threw on some black jeans. I put on my brown ankle boots and light makeup.

I took my car keys from the table beside the door before making my way to the café, I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Although I was on good terms with everyone, I couldn't help but feel a little anxious. The café was on the corner and it had a quiet vibe which I was thankful for. I climbed out of my car and walked into the café, I spotted Ella and Lexa sat at a three seat table in the corner.
I waved and sent them a happy smile before taking the remaining seat at the table.

"Hey gals," I greeted.

"Oh my god Jess, you will not believe what happened yesterday." Lexa squealed as she hid her laughter.
