Author's Note: Another golden oldie though I can't remember when I wrote this, I'm guessing sometime in the early to mid 90's. Not really a poem, more of a musing on a random thought that was rattling around in my head. lol.

---- The video is ''Apologize' by One Republic, off their 2007  debut album 'Dreaming Out Loud'.  It doesn't really have any significance to what you read below, it's just the song that was playing while I was making this post.

---- The photo is something I nicked of google images, photographer/artist unknown.

Isn't it funny how, in one breath

        your life can change?

...setting course for a new direction...

turn your sails with the wind and

         brave this new frontier...

        Isn't it strange how, from

        one moment to the next

you can see reality in a whole different light?

...And I'm finding that it's not the conception (of reality)

         that's so strange,

but in the moments that they come...

Then again, ...maybe not so strange at all,

         considering...

(lol).  Your comments help me to become a better writer, and if I can get enough comments & votes, I could even get this book published!  So don't be shy, I really do love to see what you think about my stories and poetry, and by voting & commenting, you're helping me make my dream come true of having a book published!  Thanks again! :)
