Author's Note: Another golden oldie though I can't remember when I wrote this, I'm guessing sometime in the early to mid 90's.  If a writer were to have personal favorites, I think this would be one of mine, I like the feeling that this invokes.  I could expand on this and really run w/ it too, but the words elude me every time I actually sit down and make an effort to do so.  Go figure.  lol.   :D

Can't really think of a good title for it either, if anyone has any suggestions, leave them in the comments below, thanks.

---- The video is 'Songibrd'  by Fleetwood Mac, off their 1977 album 'Rumors'. It doesn't really have any significance to what you read below, it's just the song that was playing while I was making this post.

---- The photo is something I nicked of google images, photographer/artist unknown.

Current word count:  381 words.

            The calm of the waters

            quells with the tides

            breathes sweet emotion

                 in the air

                     in his eyes ...

            ... moonlight shimmers

                 across the sea

                 white capped waves

                 tumbling silently

... love's sweet smell in the

                    salty air ...

drawing nearer and never aware ...

(lol).   Your comments help me to become a better writer, and if I can get enough comments & votes, I could even get this book published!

So don't be shy, I really do love to see what you think about my stories and poetry, and by voting & commenting, you're helping me make my dream come true of having a book published!   Thanks again!  :)
