AUTHOR'S NOTE: Another I wrote sometime in the early 1990's.  The photo is one I nicked of google images, artist unknown.

-- The song is 'Planet Caravan', a Black Sabbath song covered by Pantera, from their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven.

Current word count: 317 words.

... as I pick up my pen, the

          journey begins ...

          The circle has been broken.

Time to separate the bonds that

           so interlocked us together,

... time to go our separate ways ...

          Will our paths intertwine again?

                    .... perhaps ...

          A new rite has begun,

          the rituals are

taking place even now as I speak

To pass us into this new dimension

                             this

           new world...

          Will be accepted,

          or cast away, as before?

Will we, even though being separate,

          always be one? ....

... the paths to enlightenment casts

          many shadows

but you must not stray ...

                    .... Are you afraid?

(lol).  Your comments help me to become a better writer, and if I can get enough comments & votes, I could even get this book published!  So don't be shy, I really do love to see what you think about my stories and poetry, and by voting & commenting, you're helping me make my dream come true of having a book published!  Thanks again! :)
