AUTHOR'S NOTE: Continuation from OSN 1.1. Just came across a folder of shortys I wrote 20+ years ago, this particular shorty taken from a dream that I (sort of) worked into a story. This part a little more unedited than 1.1, so forgive me if it sounds a little ... rough? lol
---- I've decided to rework this into a shorty fan-fic; to be more specific, an INXS & Michael Hutchence fan-fic. The time frame/timeline for this story is a mix between present day and summer 1993, just after the European leg of their 'Dirty Honeymoon' tour was completed and their 'Get out of the House' US tour was to begin. Yes, I know the timeline isn't quite right for their actual tour dates, keep in mind this story is 100% pure fiction, and that is the timeline for this fictional story.
---- The video is the song 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran, which fits with the latter half of this chapter. The photo is of INXS taken in 1993 as a promotional photo for their (then) newly released album 'Full Moon Dirty Hearts' (FMDH).
---- "Chuggers" is a drinking game played with cards, beer and an occasional shot or two.

(About an hour later) ...
I had gotten completely engrossed in a game of "chuggers" with Andrew and his friends, and had very nearly forgotten about the blond haired man with electric blue eyes. I wasn't participating in the game, I was only on my third beer -- the first being knocked out of my hand and the second I hadn't drank out of either, having absentmindedly left it behind when I was conversing with John, Chris, and Tony, but I was having a thoroughly good time watching everyone else get completely plowed. Especially Andrew, he was such a trip when he got a few in him! Alcohol, that is. You could see the effect it had on him, beer by beer, as his normally shy, reserved, and quite serious self would begin to really relax and his inner smart-ass and killer sense of humor would begin to peek through, plus his cloudy, deep brown eyes that always reminded me of an oncoming storm would actually start to smile and laugh when he did. That and the more he drank, the more his Australian slang would make itself evident, which humored me to no end.
His two brothers had come to visit for the next two weeks, Tim, Jon, and their respective wives, hence the reason for the party. I had met them a couple times since over the years when their band had taken little breaks here and there from their constant touring, and had decided to stay with Andrew in Iowa as no one hardly ever bothered them here. I knew their band was quite popular, but didn't really follow them or listen to their music, as I was more into rock and alternative music at the time; like most Iowans, I knew who they were but didn't really care, because at the end of the day they're just people like everyone else and should be treated as such. I liked Andrew because he was my neighbor for one, I liked he and his brothers because for being in a band that had continuous, sold out tours around the globe -- and were once dubbed by Rolling Stone Magazine "The Best Live Band In The World", they were always the genuinely nice, friendly, down to earth sort to me, or "Fair Dinkum", as Andrew would say, which basically meant "the real deal" or "the genuine thing"; the only kind of people I would hang out with because I absolutely abhor fake people. Watching the three of them interact together, especially when drunk, was 100 times better than watching any comedy: they were like the Australian version of The Three Stooges but it was hard to tell sometimes which one was Larry, Curly, and Moe. Not that it really mattered, they'd literally keep you howling with laughter either way.
