Michael and Me - The final years 1.1

AUTHOR'S NOTE:   Any shortys with this title are basically some "notes" or rough drafts that are going to become another story I'm working on in my 'Michael and Me' Series, which is a fictitious story based on the life of Julia Daugherty, who meets Michael Hutchence and of their life together.   Each book will contain a year or a couple of years of their lives, right now I have posted the year 1983 (an ongoing book), but I think this draft will go into his/their final years together.

The "1", "2", and so on aren't indicative of actual chapters as they will eventually appear in their respective books, just numbering them here to keep track of them. They're gonna kind of jump around a bit too, as notes often do.

--- While this work is pure fiction, it does mirror some of the events that happened to Michael in the last few years of his life.

(November 20th, 1997, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Double Bay, Sydney)...

          Julia and Michael watched as the two oldest left the room before she said, "He's just like you, Mike Jr., just as creative and just as sensitive. He reminds me a lot of you when you were younger, he even has your talent with words. You should read some of the stories he's written, they're really quite good."

           "I hope he's not the hell-raiser that I was." He replied half-jokingly.

           "No, that's Randy. Randy is the flirt, he has your charm and your interest in people -- they both do, but Randy lets it be known outright, whereas Mike Jr. hides it behind his shyness. Randy is definitely the extrovert between the two."

           Michael started to hug her, "Mmm, that's good to know." He didn't get to hug for very long after she caught a good whiff of him, backing away and wrinkling her nose.

           "Oh! Good-lord!" She humorously exclaimed, waving her hand in front of her nose as if to wave the stink away. "And you are definitely taking a shower before you come to bed!"

           He smiled a laugh, "Do I smell that good?"

           "No!" She grinned back. "You most definitely do not!"

           He started to take off his shirt, then put it back on again, "All my clothes are in my room."

           "Ah! Good point!" She thought for a moment before asking, "How long are you here for?"

           "We're gigging in different pubs in Sydney and Melbourne this week as sort of a warm-up before the big tour kicks off."
