Chapter 17: A Nice Breezy Day

~Addilyn's POV~

   Tomorrow was my birthday. Was I excited? Not really, because I probably won't have party and will just hang out with my parents like when I was 6. Lame as fuck, I know. Today has been just so boring. I decided to go out to the pool. I changed into the same two piece bathing suit as the one I wore last time. My sunglasses were on my dresser, so I decided to grab them and a towel. As I sat down my towel and sunglasses, someone texted me. It was Breezy.

B- Hey girl! What'cha doing?

A- Just chilling at the pool. I'm so bored.

B- Oooo, the pool! Sounds like fun! I'm bored af too.

A- Well, you wanna come hang out with me?

B- Really?! I'd love to!

A- Yay! You need my address?

B- Nope! You already told me at the dinner.

A- Oh, okay. See you soon!

   Thank God, I won't be bored now. Oh Breezy, I love you so much. "Hey sweetie, what's up?" My mom hollered coming outside. Shit, I forgot to ask her, but wait I'm 19. Well, it is her house and she is my parents. "Sweetie?"

   "Sorry, I was just thinking. Um, I invited Breezy to come hang out at the pool with me. Is that okay?"

   "Defiantly! Am I allowed to meet her?"

   "Of course! You can hang out with us if you'd like. Breezy is such a kind-hearted person, so you'll get along fine with her."

   "Thank you so much, sweetheart! I love you so much!" Mom replied, squeezing the living shit out of me. I love my mom so much though.

   "You're welcome. I love you too! Where's dad?"

   "He's out in the front smoking." She sighed. "He also has work today."

   "Okay." I just shrugged it off and went back inside. Mom ran upstairs to get her bathing suit on.

   All of a sudden, the doorbell rang and I went to go open the door. There stood Breezy in a black two piece bathing suit and a towel. "Hey Addilyn!"

   "Hey Breezy! Come in!" We hugged and I led her out to the pool. "My mom wants to meet you so badly. Is it okay if she hangs out with us."

   "Oh my gosh, of course!" Breezy squealed and jumping up and down. I just laughed and gave her another hug.

   Then my mom came out, "Hello Breezy! I'm Angelica, Addilyn's mom."

   "Hi Angelica! Nice to meet you." Mom and Breezy shook hands and hugged. A new friendship has formed.

   "Let's go into the pool, shall we." I said already jumping into the pool. Soon, mother and Breezy followed along.

~Breezy's POV~

   "Before I forgot, Addilyn would you like to go shopping with me tomorrow around 3? I can pick you up." I asked Addilyn, giving her mom a wink. Addilyn's mom knows all about the plan.

   "It's your birthday tomorrow, so you should go, honey. Do something different for once on your birthday." Angelica said.

   "Okay, then. Sure, I'll go!"

   "Yay!" I swam over to Addilyn and picked her up.

   It was really fun hanging out with Addilyn and her mom. Angelica is actually a really cool mom. I didn't realize how late it was and I needed to get back home to my children and husband. I told them I had to go and thanks for inviting me and left. I was so exhilarated for tomorrow!
