Chapter 13: Shopping Day

~Addilyn's POV~

    "Mom, do we really have to go shopping? I have lots of outfits." A couple of hours ago, Brendon texted me that Sarah wanted to know if I wanted to go to come have dinner at their house. Of course, I said yes, but now my mom wants me to go shopping for an outfit. My dad came along too, so it's like a family day. Right?

    "Honey, I want you to have a perfect outfit. Should we get you a dress or like jeans and a nice T-shirt?"

    "I don't know. Let's just go into different stores and try to find something."

   We went into like 5 stores and couldn't find anything. Then, my mom pointed to some store called the Garage and went inside. Finally, I found this outfit in the back that my mom and dad both agreed on. It was a two-piece outfit. The top was a light blue bralet that had a crochet type of design. The mini skirt was light blue as well and had a similar design like the bralet. I also picked out some T-strap sandals to go along with the outfit. Then, I found a pair of earrings that had a clear, tinted stone as the centerpiece and around the stone was little diamonds. We bought the outfit, shoes, and earrings and headed out the store.

   In an hour or so, we decided to head home. We had lunch at the mall which was really fun. I'm glad everyone was getting along today. On the way home, all I thought about was the dinner. I was really, really nervous. I didn't want to be weird in front of Sarah. I remember that's how I felt when I was going to meet Brendon, but look at us now. We're like brother and sister, almost. Maybe me and Sarah will become close like Brendon and I did. I really shouldn't worry about it.

   Once we got home, I texted Brendon immediately.

A- Hey Bren. Wazzzup?

B- Hey Addy. Nothing much. Wazzzup with u?

A- Well, my mom just made me buy a new outfit for tomorrow 😝

B- Oh, you didn't need to, but Sarah's wants me to dress up too :(

A- Aw, poor Brenny has to dress up

B- Stfu

A- hehehe

B- You're weird. I g2g the bae needs me to help her with an outfit

A- ik I am, but you love me anyway. Baii

B- Really...? Miss Jackson

A- Are you nasty? 😏

B- omfg..k gotta go. BYE GIRRRLLL

A- baiiiiiiiiiiibroooooo

   I love our texts so much. At the end of every conversation, I end up laughing. I just picture him laughing that cute laugh he does. Like, who doesn't love Brendon Urie's laugh?

   Moments later, my dad calls me down for dinner. My mom ordered pizza! YUS! The whole dinner time my mom wouldn't shut the fuck up about the dinner, which made me more nervous. I excused myself from the table and went upstairs. Goddamn, I was so nervous. "Buzz, Buzz" My phone started to vibrate in my pocket. Brendon was calling me, so I picked it up.

   "Hey Addy!"

   "Hey Bren! What's up?"

   "The sky." I swear I hear him giving off a smirk right now.

   "Ha-ha, very funny, Beebo."

   "Oh, shut up. So I called because I wanted to know if you'd be fine with Breezy coming to the dinner too. She really wants to meet, but sadly Dallon can't come because he's too busy being a father."

   I laughed,"Oh, I'm totally fine with that. I've always wanted to meet Breezy and Sarah, of course." Now I was really nervous, but I tried to hide it as much as I could.

   "Are you nervous?" Wtf. He's too good at reading my emotions.

   "Maybe."

   "It's okay, Addilyn" I loved the way he says my name. "I'll be there."

   I smile, "Thanks Brenny."

   "No probs, Addy. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight."

   "Goodnight."

   I put down my phone and plugged it into the charger. I texted my mom that I was going to meet Breezy too, and I could hear her squealing from downstairs. Lord, help me. 

A/N: I have no clue why I put that gif, but oh well. You guys will see everyone's outfits in the next chapter. Beware, lots of drama coming up! >:D
