~Addilyn's POV~

I drove to Starbucks to visit my boss, and James. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, my parents forced me to quit, so I did. I walked in the store was greeted by James, "Good morning Addilyn! What can I get'cha?"

"Good morning James! I'll have a Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino."

   "Coming right up!"

"Hi Addilyn! Nice to see you! How are you doing?" My boss said coming out of the kitchen.

"Hey Caroline! It's nice to see you as well. I've been better. How are you now and days?"

"I'm good." Caroline and James came back with my drink.

   "Here ya go, miss."

"Why thank you kind sir." He chuckled and I went to sit in a little booth.

   "Oh my gosh!" Somebody exclaimed.

"Look at that! Another person in the store yelled.

"What's going on?" I asked, walking over to where everybody was standing in front of a TV. My eyes widened and my heart sank.

"This just in there's been a terrible car accident. Apparently, the driver's name is Eric Rose ,who got hit head on by another car."

"That's my dad! Oh my gosh!" I yelled and everyone looked at me and gasped.

"He is now being transported to the hospital." Suddenly, my phone was ringing and I was already in tears.

   "Hello?"

   "Addilyn! Your dad-"

   "Mom, I know!"

"I'll meet you at the hospital!" Mom said quickly before hanging up. I rushed out Starbucks and hopped in the car and drove off.

An hour later, I arrived at the hospital. I ran to the receptionist, "What room is Eric Rose in?" She saw the tears running down my face.

"Room A16." I didn't even say thank you, I just sprinted to the room. Finally, I found the fucking room and twisted the knob. I just stood in the doorway, seeing my mother crying, holding my badly injured father's hand. My mother turned around and walked up to me and gave me a tight hug. I just started to sob again and she rubbed my back. We separated and I went up to my dad.

   "Daddy?"

"Hi honey," he said weakly. He held out his hand and I put my hand in his.

It's been hours and it was like 7:00 at night and I've just been crying. "Honey, you can go home now." My mother told me. I shook my head. "Yes, Addilyn. You're tired and you've been going through a lot."

   "No, I'm staying with dad!"

"Addilyn, sweetie. You can go home. I want you to go home cause like your mom said you're tired and you've gone through a lot."

I sighed, "Fine. I love you dad. Please stay strong for me."

I hugged him, "I will honey." I walk out of the hospital and of course, I drive home crying.

~Brendon's POV~

This is literally the worst week for Addilyn. I just saw that her dad was in a really horrible car accident. It was 7:30 P.M. and I was debating if I should go visit or not.

Moments later, I decided to go to the hospital. It took me about a half hour to get there. I walked to the receptionist. Thank god it wasn't the same girl as before. "What room is Eric Rose in?"

   "Room A16."

"Thank you." I run down the hall and quickly find the room. I knock and hear a "come in". I open the door and look around. I sighed because Addilyn wasn't here. "Brendon?" Her mother said, rising from her chair.

"Hello Mrs. Rose. I came to visit because I heard what happened. I'm so sorry. May I talk to him?"

"Of course," she guided me towards her father. Goddamn, he was injured badly.

"Hello sir. I'm so sorry that this happened to you."

"No need to be sorry. Thank you for coming."

"No problem! I also wanted to apologize for the way I treated your daughter. I feel really bad, trust me, I do. I hope Addilyn knows this isn't any of her fault and I'm not mad at her. I love your daughter very much"

"We know you weren't trying to mean harm and I know you love her. She misses you though. All she talks about at home is you. Addilyn is so worried about you." I sat there for at least an hour talking to them. "Brendon, you are more than welcome to go home now. I can tell you are tired and you've been through a lot as well."

   "Are you sure, Mr. Rose?"

"Eric... and yes, I'm sure." He smiled at me. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. "Please take care of my daughter for me." I knew what he was implying.

"I will, Mr-Eric. I promise you that." Addilyn's mother walked me out and we talked.

"Mrs. Rose, please don't tell Addy I was here."

   "Are you sure?" I nodded.

"Do you really love her? Like you know." She asked.

"Yes, with all my heart. I realized that when Sarah walked out of my life."

She smiled and hugged me, "Goodnight Brendon."

   "Goodnight."

~Addilyn's POV~

My phone rang, "Hey mom. How's dad?"

"I'm so sorry Addilyn, but your father passed away." I hung up and sank down on the floor and curled up and cried my heart out.
