New York,
United States Of America.

The streets of New York are full of people walking around, quickly and carelessly. Eleanor runs up the stairs of the subway station while Charles and Erik walk behind her. She starts to walk in direction of Times Square and she finds it. It is not much but it has its own beauty. It is decorated with lights and letters. Pepsi-Cola is read in many advertisements and she sees the Canadian Club whisky company ad in the top of the building. Erik and Charles appear behind her. She turns to look at them and narrows his eyes at Erik.

"You never brought me to New York!" She whines frowning at him. He nods with a smile.

"That's because I hate this city" He tells the girl. Charles frowns and looks at him.

"Why?" He asks curiously "Everyone loves New York, even I do. I was born here"

"Where's the British accent from?" Eleanor asks raising an eyebrow. Charles smiles at the girl and shakes his head.

"I'll tell you another time"

"The first time I came to New York I was really disappointed, you get here and the first thing you see is the Statue of Liberty but it's ironic because, there is no liberty for us. I just hate the idea they sell with what there truly is" He explains. Eleanor narrows her eyes knowing he is starting to think things too much, again.

"Well, I think you should have brought me" She adds with a smile, trying to lighten the mood.

"And what? Sleep with the whole city? No, thank you" He comments looking at Eleanor. She glares at him crossing her arms over her chest.

"Is there anything wrong with that?" She asks narrowing her eyes. Erik smiles at the girl and shakes his head "I could even be in Broadway" Charles raises his eyebrows with a smile and Erik smiles too.

"You wanna be famous?" Charles comments amused. She grimaces and shrugs.

"Not really, but I always wanted to be an actress, or do something special" She murmurs looking at the buildings again "Where do we start?" She asks the men.

"Follow me" Charles tells Erik and Eleanor with a small smile. He starts walking towards a small pub. As they enter the bar Charles looks at a man who is taking a cigar. Eleanor turns to look at Charles and he nods. She puts her hands on the man's shoulder and turns his head a bit to see her.

"Hello, big guy" She murmurs with a smirk. Erik and Charles divide to stand next to the man "I'm Eleanor"

"I'm afraid I can't afford you, honey" He replies with a small smile. Eleanor glares at the man and lets out some air.

"Uh, I am not a-"

"Excuse me, I'm Erik Lehnsherr" He says with a nice smile before sending a look to Eleanor. The man stares at them full of judgement, raising his eyebrow. Eleanor fakes a smile.

"Charles Xavier" Charles says with a small smile. The guy lets out all the smoke and scoffs.

"Go fuck yourself" He says starting to smoke again. Eleanor frowns and puts her hands in the air. Erik puts his hand on her back and they leave the pub.

"What an asshole" She comments still grimacing. Charles sighs and shakes his head "He thought I was a prostitute..." She comments looking at her clothes, which consist on black capris and a red sweater covered by a trench coat.

"Now we have to find the taxi driver" He says looking at his watch. He smiles looking at Eleanor and Erik "And we have to run before anyone gets him first" Charles starts walking quickly.

"How do you know where he is?" Eleanor asks running to be next to him.

"He waits everyday in Avenue of the Americas with 50th street, next to the Radio City Music Hall" He informs as Erik catching up their pace.

"Oh, wow" She replies laughing. They get there as early as they can and Charles recognizes the driver. There is a couple that talks to him but Charles takes care of them. The man frowns as the couple leaves and Charles rushes to open the door. He lets Eleanor get in the car first and then he gets in. Erik closes the door as he gets in. The man looks at them through the mirror.

"Where to, fellas?" He asks with a nice smile.

"Richmond, Virginia, please" Eleanor looks at both of them with a face full of judgement.

"What!?" She exclaims in a whisper "I wanted to stay in New York for the day" She tells Charles as Erik is ignoring her comments. He likes to do that because it is funny to see Eleanor not getting what she wants. Charles smiles and turns to look at her.

"I promise we'll come back after we get Shaw" He tells the girl, not realizing what he is saying. She starts to clap softly.

"Right, so, you want the airport?" He asks grinning "The station? What?" The man laughs a bit.

"No, we were rather hoping you would take us all the way" Charles says with his serious look. Eleanor smiles at the driver's reaction.

"That's a six-hour drive" He comments confused.

"That will give us plenty of time to talk" Erik responds as he moves a metallic part of the taximeter. She rolls her eyes at the predictable behavior.

The man, who calls himself Darwin, spends part of the journey talking about his mutation and explaining how it works. The next thing they do is explain their mutations, except for Eleanor, who just says psychokinesis and telepathy. At one point they all stay silent and Eleanor has an idea. She sighs.

"Darwin, you have a radio in here, don't you?" She asks with a smile. He nods slowly.

"Of course. Why do you ask?" He stares at the road confused and she smiles. She starts to jump from the back seat to the front seat next to Darwin.

"What are you doing?" Charles exclaims laughing. She hits her head with the ceiling of the car "Eleanor! Are you alright?" She sits on the seat laughing out loud. Everyone starts laughing with her.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to put some music" She turns on the radio and Bip Bop Boom is playing, which happens to be one of her favorite songs. She starts to sing to the song and do a little hand jive. She turns to the back to look at Erik and Charles, who are laughing at her.

"Hey! Why don't you try it?" She asks narrowing her eyes and smirking evilly "Erik, I showed you how to hand-jive" She tells her friend "And you, Charles, is really easy actually" She does a rhythm with her hands and Charles laughs.

"Yeah, looks really easy" He comments sarcastically. She sighs rolling her eyes and keeps on doing what she was doing, enjoying the music while it is playing.
