Chapter 1

JACKS POV

I sigh as I sit in another club full of Conor Maynard lovers

Have you seen all the videos of me and Conor where he talks about me, not managing to text a girl back?

Yes that is because all the girls go all over him!

Yes I will admit, I said I haven't been romantic but that is because I never get chance with the girls swooning over him

He also said that I haven't had a proper girlfriend, yes because all the girls drop at Conor's feet

In that same video he said "Wasn't looking for trouble, but it came looking for me" apparently that was about me

Just because I got in trouble a lot and you act like some next fucking Angel

Fuck off!

He said "Oh you survived today" when I said I was the "Get out of our house" child

Again with the Saint act

It pisses me off

He makes me seem like the player but have you heard the songs he sings?

'Girls, Girls, Girls, I just can't say no'

'She gets what she wants, when she's touching me'

'Girl, I'm giving you the finger'

I didn't write any of those lyrics and he did!

I'm just his less popular brother

"You coming to dance Jack?" I hear a voice ask

I spin around in my chair and see Emily

Ahhhh yes Emily

The girl that me and Conor have know since we was young

The girl that lives with us

The girl that I have liked for so long but I never told her

"Sure why not" I say as I get up and take her hand

Most of our other friends where dancing together, well Conor was with a bunch of girls but that wasn't the point

"You alright Jack, you seem a bit out of it?" Emily asks as we go out onto the dance floor

"I'm fine, just thinking" I said pulling her closer, she laughs

Me and Emily have always had a close bond

Ever since she moved in with us, we've got closer

Emily is Mikey's sister

It's really complicated to explain but...

Emily and Mikey had a fall out and Emily came to stay with us for a few nights

A few nights turned into a few weeks and then all her stuff got moved in

Mikey doesn't mind, he said it gives her independence

Well she is living with 3 boys, she would have to be independent

We continue to dance until she gets tired, so she goes and sits down, I follow

"Would you like a drink Emily?" I ask, she nods

I get her a glass of Rosé wine and I get the same, got to love a glass of Rosé

We clink our glasses together before drinking them slowly

I look over to Conor, who is still with that bunch of girls but they are now sitting down at a booth

I don't get why they get all over him!

He made his hits in 2012 and it's 2016!

It's only because he does covers on YouTube, that he is so popular again

Me and Emily finish our drinks

"I don't fancy staying any longer Jack, can we go home?" She asks

"I thought you would never ask" I mumble under my breath as I get up and take her hand so I don't loose her

I gulp as I feel a tingling sensation in my hand

I always feel it when I hold hands with Emily

We get home and by this time I am giving her a piggy back to the apartment

I throw her onto the sofa and I land at side of her

"Orange Is The New Black, marathon?" She asks, knowing the answer

"Of course" I get up so she can get comfortable

I relax against the back of the sofa and Emily rests her head on my clothed chest

CONORS POV

I slide my keys in the door after a long night of partying

I didn't see Emily or Jack towards the end of the night

Maybe Jack got laid last night

Maybe Emily did

Oh my god, maybe they did it together

I laugh at my own thought

Emily wouldn't go for a player like Jack, she isn't stupid enough to even think about doing that

I also laugh at the thought Jack actually getting laid

I open the door and I see all the lights are off but the TV is still on

I turn the living room lights on and I see Emily and Jack curled up on the sofa

Oh, how sweet they are having a little cuddle

Wouldn't want to ruin that now would we?
