-A FEW DAYS LATER, BACK AT THE FLAT IN LONDON-
JACKS POV
I close the front door with a sigh
I had just come back to the flat from a meeting with the landlord
It wasn't amazing news but I had a solution
"GUYS I NEED TO TALK TO YOU, CAN YOU COME INTO THE LIVING ROOM FOR A MINUTE!" I shout from the hallway, hoping that they all heard me
I walk into the living room slash kitchen and I put my car keys and flat keys down on the coffee table
No sooner do I sit down on the sofa, do I hear doors close
Josh is first to appear from the hallway, then Conor and finally Emily who took longer than expected
"Come on slow coach, let's be having you" I jokingly patting the sofa next to me
"Sorry I was having a nap" Emily mumbles as she rubs her eyes
She comes and snuggles up next to me on the sofa
"Right so I just had a meeting with the landlord and well I have soon good news and some bad news, what do you want to hear first?" I ask
"Good news first" Josh says
"Well if I tell you the good news first then the bad news won't make sense so bad news it is Josh, great choice!" I explain
Josh rolls his eyes
"What's happened?" Conor asks
"Well brother-dearest the landlord has been getting some complaints about how loud we are like banging and stomping about, loud music, screaming and shouting, he also came round when me, you and Emily was away in Brighton, God knows where Josh was" I say to everyone but it sounded like I was telling Conor
"I stayed at Caspar's because I was lonely" Josh admits
"Thanks for interrupting me Josh, so anyw-" he interrupts me again
"Your welcome" he says with a smile
I fake smile back at him
"So like I was saying basically the landlord isn't happy with how we maintain the flat like the massive hole in the wall, the stained walls from Emily throwing beer, he isn't happy with our noise levels and just generally us, so he has decided to evict us from the flat" I explain fully
Emily sits up abruptly
"So where the hell are we going to live?!" Emily questions raising her voice a bit
"Calm down baby, that's the good news, I managed to get us a brand new flat, it's really nice I've been to view it and we can move in from tomorrow, the rent will be shared out equally plus it is about the same price as this flat" I inform them
"When does the landlord want us out?" Conor asks
"Not until the start of next week but I want to move out ASAP because knowing that annoying twat we have for a landlord he will get pushy" I say rolling my eyes
