Rider's pov
As the Jedi and I slowly walk towards the battle, I see Obi-Wan and Kellan fighting against the last Sith.
Unlike when I saw the Sith earlier, he doesn't have his cloak on, allowing me to see a mess of fiery red hair that is stuck to his forehead from the layer of sweat that is covering his pale skin. I am shocked to see that his eyes aren't golden. Instead, he has light green eyes that are wide with fear.
"I need to help them. Do you want me to help you sit down again?" I say quickly, recognizing who the Sith is.
"Yes," he whispers back, his voice filled with pain.
The second he responds, as gently as I can, I help him sit with his back against the wall.
Once he is sitting down I call my lightsaber from across the room, it flying through the air before landing perfectly in my outstretched hand.
Now that my lightsaber is in my hand again, I notice fear flash across the Jedi's face.
"Earlier, when I told you that I wasn't going to hurt you, I meant it," I whisper as I walk away from him, feeling a little hurt that after all I have done for this Jedi he is still afraid of me.
As I walk towards the Sith, Kellan, and Obi-Wan, the Sith notices me, causing his face to fill with terror, distracting him from the battle.
I let out a heavy sigh, hating that yet another person is afraid of me.
Now that the Sith is distracted, Obi-Wan aims a blow at his stomach. The Sith is barely able to block it, but the power behind the swing causes him to fall backwards, onto his knees, his lightsaber falling out of his hand to immediately be called into Kellan's hand.
Once Kellan has attached the Sith's lightsaber to his belt, he and Obi-Wan point their lightsabers at the Sith's throat. The Sith shrinks back against the wall with a whimper, seeming absolutely terrified.
He glances at me for a second, his eyes pleading for me to help him, for me to keep them from killing him.
When Kellan takes a step forward, about to kill the Sith, I yell, "Stop! Don't kill him!"
Kellan turns towards me, takes one look at me, then takes a couple of steps back. Obi-Wan does the same, allowing me to walk in front of the Sith.
I kneel down in front of the Sith, causing him to bury his head in knees and beg, "Please, Darth Amicus, don't hurt me."
"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you, Nate," I say quietly, assuming that this Makai's friend who was forced to become a Sith.
"How do you know my name?" He asks just above a whisper as he raises his head to look at me. I am relieved to see that he is looking a little less afraid of me.
"Makai is a friend of mine," I say with a small smile even though I am a little worried that she won't consider me her friend after I betrayed her.
"She is alive?! Please, if she is, let me see her. It's been so long, I miss her so much," Nate says in a shocked and slightly desperate tone.
Before I can say yes, Obi-Wan cuts in and says, "You can see her once you surrender yourself to the Republic and promise to answer every question you are asked honestly."
"Done," Nate says without hesitation, meanwhile I shoot Obi-Wan a look of disbelief, frustrated and shocked that he is forcing Nate to do this before he can see Makai.
Thankfully nobody but Kellan notices my look, Obi-Wan too busy pulling out cuffs to notice. When I see the cuffs my body tenses and I become afraid, knowing that soon I will also be in cuffs.
