"lol you piss me off so much"
-unsaid

"Amnesia Luna Steele I know you're trying to sneak in through the back door so you better get your ass in here right now!" My stomach dropped as I heard my aunts voice come from the kitchen. I let out a quiet groan as I make my way to the kitchen.

As I got closer the smell of cigarette smoke becomes stronger, causing me to cringe. I enter the kitchen to see my Aunt Rosie attempting to cook lasagna. Usually I'm the one to cook, but since Grayson made me late and my car decided to break down which forced me to call a tow truck, I was late and wasn't able to make dinner.

I noticed her getting frustrated since she is a horrible cook and she gets angry super easily, a trait that we both share.

I cleared my throat and she whipped around with her lips tight together, something she does when she's angry.

"Where the hell have you been Amnesia?" My aunt said as she put the cigarette out using an ash tray. I never really liked the idea of her smoking, mostly because I knew she would one day die from it, and my aunt was all I really had.

"I ran into someone in school and then my car broke down-"

"You could've called Amnesia." She said as she grabbed the tray of burnt  lasagna and slammed it down onto the kitchen island.

"I know and I'm sorry it won't happen again."

She looked at me and sighed as she went over and hugged me. My aunt was very emotional.

"I'm sorry, I was just worried." I felt my aunts years start to trickle down my shoulder. Like I said, VERY emotional and dramatic.

"How about I take care of dinner?" I asked and we both started chuckling and she confirmed my offer with a nod.

"You never told me who you were talking to at school you know." I looked up from my food to meet the curious eyes of my aunt.

"It was just a guy from school," I knew what was coming when I said that so I was sure to cut my aunt off right away.

"And no we are not dating, nor will we ever." I said as I got my plate and went over to the kitchen sink to wash my plate. The though of me and Grayson dating made me cringe internally.

"Yeah that's what I used to say to my parents when I didn't want them to know I was dating someone."

"Yeah well this will never be that alright, I mean he's obnoxious, self-centered, conceited, and cares for no one but himself, sound familiar?" I realize I was a little harsh but Grayson did remind me a lot of a certain someone who crumbled my already damaged heart.

"Anyways, speaking of boys, I need to talk to you about something." The atmosphere of the room changed dramatically; it was like a deathly suffocating silence. I knew that when Rosie avoided eye contact with me, it meant it was something I really wasn't going to like.

"What?" I asked as I sat back down in my seat.

"Well yesterday I got a call and it turns out that Gregory is coming back home." My aunt slowly looked up to meet my eyes but it felt like my eyes had popped out of my head. The fact that my brother was coming home meant that his service was up. This is exactly how I felt when his probation ended and even when he was released from prison.
